CHI/LON storage:
Price 37
No, because that will defeat the purpose of flash deals.
@hosthatch Does this apply to the NVMe offers, or is it for the 3GB storage offer only? (Which had the same specs last year, anyway.)
on upgrades 2GB -> 8GB -> 16GB existing customer 10 discount will be applied?
is this still available in london?
2 CPU core (50% dedicated, burstable up to 200%)
8 GB RAM
40 GB RAID-10 NVMe
5 TB bandwidth (1 TB in Hong Kong and Sydney)
$30 per year
Yes, it is.
@hosthatch hi! I'm thinking of getting another VPS. If I get this one below, will I be able to do the $30 upgrade sometime in the future? Thanks!
1x 2.4+ GHz
3 GB RAM
3 TB usable storage
9 TB bandwidth
$84 per year
According the info in this thread, you can do that.
anyone can check if there is still any of these on stock? i can't see cuz need log in
Why not register and log in?
CHI and LON are available. AMS is sold out
What is the story with acknowledgements? I submitted two orders (tickets), one on Friday and one just now, both for front-page NVMe servers (not flash deals).
For the one just now, I received a response to the ticket within 2 hours acknowledging the order, and it shows as pending in my server list.
For the one on Friday... nothing.
Are we supposed to get acknowledgements of the orders?
You will receive an email.
I do not mean an email, I mean a response to the ticket like this:
which is from an actual (named) person, and the server then shows as pending. Should this be received for each order?
These acknowledgements are probably done manually.
I received it (yesterday though) and you did too, so I'm sure others have received it or will be receiving it in due time.
If it is normal, I guess my question is why they are so far out of order and not in the order they were created, mostly thinking about implications in terms of stock.
Too much effort
Beats me buddy
If you've done what needs to be done, then I think that's good enough for now. Pretty sure they anticipated the huge volume of incoming orders hence why they require up to 7 business days.
This is handled in the original post
So in case "out of stock" will happen(which I think didn't happen for any of the original offers). Then the time when a ticket was opened will come in place. If it was placed before an "out of stock" notification it should be fulfilled.
My guess is that persons who review those tickets have to deal with a lot of "off topic" ones that can't be processed with a quick acknowledgement response. So one of your tickets may be delayed to be processed in the next working day along with some other tickets.
In my case, order tickets got an acknowledgement response. But billing issues are left unsolved and unanswered, I suppose those will be resolved on working days. I hope @hosthatch will allow some flexibility because of that, since it affects the balance available for orders.
I haven't gotten any acknowledgements for any of my sales tickets and I did submit them early so they are clearly not going through them in order. I'm not worried though and I'm sure they have enough capacity to cover these orders as they haven't called out out of stock in the thread yet.
I dont think.
Do you support BGP?

You might want to read the third post.
Specifically this one: https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3158322/#Comment_3158322
3rd post in this thread:
"BGP - we initially decided that we would do this for anyone with over $50/m in account spend with us. However, we will do BGP if you have at least the equivalent of $15/m ($180/year) in account spend with us, for this promotion only.
BGP will be available in all of our locations. Only default route for the moment. IPv4 and IPv6. Looking forward to having some customers run anycast over our 15+ premium locations
Since this is largely manual for now, the guaranteed time for BGP setup is 31st December. (PS - we can also announce your IP ranges from our AS)"
My mistake, just read that...
Wow, I didn't realise that one was still available. I just grabbed one too! I was hoping for a storage deal in the USA, but London is fine too. I have a VPS up for renewal in December at another provider which is $24/year for 250 GB, so $22/year for 500 GB is a great deal. I use it for backups of all my servers and other important stuff
The 500gb for Chicago is not available in the Flash Deals post. But 250gb and 1TB links for Chicago still work.
Overall there are still some deals available in the second flash deals post. So it is worth checking https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3161948/#Comment_3161948 . Just don't remind yourself about the 10TB one that was gone in 20 seconds
You did well. I have a bunch of Hosthatch storage servers in different locations and the London one has always been silky smooth with fast network even though I'm ~250ms away
