I may be mistaken, but thing got recently a bit better. But well, maybe the LowEndWorld is broken indefinitely.
I try to avoid putting money in the pockets of scam artists, hence my abysmal activity here lately. Just been popping in to check on my beloved VirMach.
I used to have a different LET provider or two at each location so it didn't matter if one went out of business. Now I'm down to three providers, and mostly Virmach in the US... I wonder what next Black Friday will be like; will anyone trust the summer hosts ever again?
Now that CC should be out of LET, I don't know how summerhost will be able to offer interesting price. I mean, what the point if you can't beat established provider ?
It probably would have been a monthly recurring coupon that applied to 12 months. At least that’s how it worked for me for BF 2018, where I got a SSD32G for a year. It’ll automatically generate a $0.00 invoice every month that’s automatically paid. They are manually provisioned too, so it might take a few days before it’s ready but Virmach is very quick!
On the last month, when the US$160.00 invoice came up, I just simply requested a cancellation at the end of the billing cycle and it went away and I kept the VPS for the whole year, free of charge.

If it weren't for unfair AUP, people could run summerhosts off their home fiber connections. Now that would be fun! "Uh yeah, let me check the data center" ... toilet flushes ... kids playing ... "awe damnit, my kids unplugged the data center to play Nintendo..."
You probably can do NAT, but IP would be a major issues anyway.

I mean, it don't allow tu mute or adjust volume of a user. It's not easy to keep contact with a participant when host leave, even when everyone is sign in. In the end, it's just a bunch of plugin put together with heavy glue.
Edit : and it don't keep track of recent room. I mean, I need to connect to 8 differents room all the week, that really annoying to need to look to find the links.
