Like I said, it's 2.7$ ( because 33/12). It's not a lost leader, but Virmach is losing money on that ( or maybe tight if everyone idle ).

With lower price they can attract more users. Sure they might lose money, but if that really hurts the quantity should be limited. Since the 833 got several encores, I will say they might be happy about this?

    why?

    Why not?

To see what's "the double" mentioned.

@VirMach People are complaining why their VPSes got silently downgraded to "E312xx" from other E3 or E5 series. I am thinking that might be a compatibility issue on QEMU / for KVM Lite only or something.

They also take this "opportunity" to complain about the disk speed reduced significantly, which they rumored that VirMach is secretly downgrading everyone to reduce the cost.

  • @FAT32 Let me guess.... Hostloc ?

I mean, who else can it be? :)

  • Yeah , that true...

About the downgrading thing it may be caused by ovz to kvm effect.

  • VirMach is preparing the NVMe plan and we are going to be the beta testers.

Well, maybe that was after something happened last week...

TLDR: I posted an aggressive comment to people who don't understand VirMach's TOS. However, I made some mistakes in the Chinese translation, which caused a war that resulted in hundreds of insulting comments. Learnt a lot from this incident too.

  • A great idea comes up for me to make use of my idling VPS, however I don’t think I have enough knowledge to finish it.... But I am lazy to learn...

Any suggestion simplest solution to write an web app?

Write a simple web app is dead simple. But a simple web app can't do anything. So I suggest picking a project from self-host projects which you can make full use of them.

Been a while since I've posted in here...

<3 you, VirMach. And you, FAT32. And all of you, beautiful people.

Spread the love. Spread the Buffalo. It's gonna be a good year for the Buffalo... I can feel it. I've also decided that if I ever get hit on the head hard enough and turn into a furry, my furry suit will be a Buffalo that lays Easter eggs. That is all, carry on.
