Wishing everyone a prosperous old new year.

If any of you with a VPS in San Jose would be so kind as to PM me your thoughts about the performance of your VPS in this location I would appreciate it.

@FrankZ - I've got a few. Solid uptime, fair-to-middling performance. Perfectly adequate for many tasks (jumphost, remote desktop to nearby location, medium-duty webserver) but I would look elsewhere for stuff like transcoding or streaming media.

I've been idling this one since I got it in December (easter egg ftw!) so can't yet say whether network performance is consistent

geekbench for a 4 GB "KVM Lite" in San Jose https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/15134798

CPU steal time usually around 1% but spiked as high as 25% occasionally during the multicore part of the bench

    Disk is fine

Network was meh when I tested it just now (about 6:30 AM in San Jose)
