The special offers will end today at 23:59 CET.
We don't assign additional IPv4 addresses anymore.
No extension till Dec 31st?
Does today at 23:59 CET sound like Dec 31st?
(He has just clarified when it ends)
How does the NVME-Special-2 compare with Hetzner's CX41?
Any benchmarks?
My SAS-Special-1:

Congrats on your fourth comment
One more happy client
UltraVPS.eu / ProviderService.com have been by far one of the best hosts in EU/UK for me. Far better & accommodating than Netcup in terms of cancellation and invoice adjustments. I have their BF servers running since last 3-4 years, not a crappy oversold shit that usually comes up on deals.
Come on. Both companies don't give a damn about your opinion and laws when it comes to service bills that were not even provided. Even if in your country this is called extortion, which is criminally punishable.
Just a short comment: _Nic hasn't paid an invoice in the past as he considers that he isn't obligated to because of local law. Since we do not provide new services to customers with unpaid invoices, we rejected his latest orders. I do not see any "extortion" or other illegal behavior here from our side.
I agree, my experience has also been very good over several years.
You voluntarily canceled the bill, so it does not need to be paid. Or is it necessary? However, you decided to punish me. If you punish the non-payment of an bill for which the service will not be provided, then you extort payment. According to the local law, the court can oblige you to provide me services, and to fine. You are lucky that you are a German company.
Different laws, mentality and low customer focus. So why is your company better than netcup?
Just for the record, @UltraVPS didn't mention netcup, so they're not obliged to compare themselves to netcup in any respect
OK, I do not mind. But @UltraVPS is also not obliged to publicly the disclose the bills of the clients, and to spoil my reputation by calling me a non-payer publicly, at least because it is a serious blame, and the agreement to cancel the bill was reached.
How local is this law?
Popcorn bucket slips out my hands. Noo
Well, you started it by your first comment above on this page, which was negative with respect to @UltraVPS. Once you started it, they have a right to react even if their reaction with respect to you is negative.
(The rest of us don't know the facts of the case. My point is simply that if you start by saying something negative, they have a right to react to that. They didn't divulge any personal details about you.)
I don't recall seeing UltraVPS disclosing any bills publicly
butthurt much?
don't be a dick or get treated as such.
So you think that what I described is negative? The company considers this to be common practice. So you think the company is doing negatively? It turns out that I have nothing to do with it. Why does a company representative write nasty things about me personally, linking my account with their client?
Would you like it if you were personally publicly called a non-payer, if you owe nothing?
If we return to your comment above (in reply to @mehargags ), you wrote:
Yes, this sounds negative to me. I couldn't say exactly what you're talking about, but it sounds negative (and I think that most people would agree that it sounds negative).
After writing that comment, @UltraVPS reacted and provided a possible reason for your negative tone.
Again, the rest of us don't know the details of the case. But I would find it hard to believe that you didn't intend your comment to be negative in tone.
That is, you think that instead of solving the problem, blaming the person personally, writing nasty things about him, is this a good practice? Even without reliable confirmation that this is this person, and not just someone who has information about approaches to working with clients in the company.
Perhaps my English is not very good, so you hear such tones.
Don't be a dick, it also works for the company.
If you didn't want/expect a reaction, why did you say anything at all?
(I've made my point, and I won't continue to repeat myself.)
Don't worry guys, l got a couple their VPSes from rejected orders. It's not a problem, if you really want it. A performance is quite good
Oh my. Popcorn. Refilled
From a neutral perspective, the focus on legal obligations instead of discussing ethical obligations clearly shows who is the asshole.
Ethical obligations not to charge for an unused service were initially rejected by the company, and presented quite legal, brought up by the contract. So yes, you are right.
Let me guess: you didn't cancel your VPS two weeks in advance and then you didn't want to pay the bill for the next period. Something like this?
of course. and he obviously feels entitled by the law of his location to rightfully do so totally despite the fact that he chose to accept terms and conditions (and laws) with someone else in a different place in the first place.
I like how he rants about being called out though, while starting the fire himself by suggesting providers behaviour to be criminal before...
