Pavlov?
Thanks for the tips guys. The problem appears to be my IP. I tried accessing via a VPN in another country and the page finally displays properly. Is Virmach blacklisting IPs in Asia by any chance?
Try to use AliPay, or use Cryptocurrency to make a deposit and then use store credits. That's the two ways you can sort-of bypass our anti-fraud system if you're getting caught during flash deals.
I'm actually not even seeing the deals show up on the BF page. Not worried about payment because I already have an account with you guys which accepts payments from my CC just fine. The deal page itself just has the deal disappearing almost immediately upon rendering when accessed from my home IP.
BF 2019 ain't going as strong as 2018 - maybe there is some logic behind that if you consider that it's the last one.
but Alipay is not available for deposits...
@VirMach are you aware of "Virtual Server not found" issue? Also since everyone seems gone, any killer deal?
We're not doing any blocks there. I'll look around, which country are you from?
Bad sentence. I meant try to use Alipay (normally) or use Crypto to make a deposit, not Alipay or Crypto to make a deposit.
On WHMCS? Yes.
The deals aren't as good this time as VirMach has eliminated OpenVZ offerings.
@VirMach and the issue of the $4.95 deal listing as "pending" and not "active?
Paid with store credit and Email receipt received (and subtracted from credit total etc)
So should list in Active, but somehow ended up in Pending?
Should I open a ticket or is that already on the "soon" to do list?
The deals aren't as good, but there is less craziness as well... Might be related, though.
@VirMach I picked up a $17.58 BF deal for Piscataway and definitely completed/paid by Paypal within 4 minutes. The next deal was around $30. But it looks like the VPS was created in Buffalo. Had very bad experiences with a ColoCrossing VPS in past so made sure I picked NJ.
Can you tell me if the SorrowfulFirsthand-VM is in Piscataway NJ or Buffalo NY?

Good Deal. - 42% OFF
This isn't really true. We've already met or exceeded some of our most popular OpenVZ offers, in terms of specification and pricing.
Less of me around and the script is more tame.
We're aware, but open a ticket just in case for this one if you also did not receive the product.
That's in Piscataway
Does "WINDOWS AVAILABLE" VPS cost more? I am from linux world.
Yes, do I need to open a ticket or it will be taken care of?
Yes, because they usually got a bigger disk.
However, this price difference exists in general because of the higher specs. You aren't getting billed just for the availability of windows.
So, it is not about windows license?
How much extra if I need windows server?
It was 7AM where I am when the $3.99 craziness dropped.
You sleep you lose, I guess...
No more 16+ core servers with 12+GB of ram, what gives?
The number of < $10/year deals this time pales in comparison to 2018.
Yeah this year its not that exciting..
We coded something in to account for Windows usually using more processing power, but I don't think that's even working. So it's the same, at least right now.
Multiple reasons.
Is there a chance to get a deal with specs like 3 to 4 gb ram, 30+ gb ssd and windows available for less than$20? There was something like this once but i wasn't fast enough.
I mean that's within the realm of possibilities.
Can you list some of those from last year?
VirBot has been subsumed by its master, the one and only @VirMach
It is time to start to pay attention and prime the fingers, your keyboard...
Possibilities are going to open up it seems.
P.S: I would love to pick up one of those 16 vcore, 8 GB RAM, 4 TB BW, 4GB disk, USD 8 priced instances - I know you can't do much with it (and don't plan to), but just looking at htop and drooling (not into the keyboard of course) takes on a whole new dimension of idling.
