Disk is fast my man.
Faster than the network, so good enough for government work I guess ...
that $21/m deal seems to offer more respectable performance - at about 19 times the annual cost though ...
So no seal of approval here?
@uptime bruh
@cociu's Dracula storage easily doubles that.
A Sloth Seal perhaps
as with many lowend offers, I feel tempted but not compelled
and I'm glad to see something coming from QN rather than AR's latest zombie reincarnation
Seems like it could work nicely for overseas connectivity so will hope to hear some confirmation from the many other connoisseurs of fine servers here
Most of us don't need China optimized network. I suspect they have a storm of chargebacks to deal with soon. Hope they are prepared.
I guess I might compare to the $7/m deal I have from CrownCloud in QN Los Angeles (4 gb ram, 4 vcores, 60 gb ssd)
https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/14262365
... at slightly over 6 times the annual cost of the $13.5 pacificrack deal
also, disk speed of the $13.5 deal seems roughly comparable to the virmach BF special in LA I checked in on just now - though I wonder if that might change (either way) in the long run
It looks like a bag of potassium. It could be low grade USA potassium, or slightly less than Kazakhstan grade potassium.
I must resist the urge to sample the goods...
So the verdict it seems on the Pacificrack offer is : "Nice Rack" ?
It hasn't been through the dahartigan potassium verification certification process, so it's a case of trusting the label at this point.
Serious benefit of the doubt because it's clearly backed by QN who are a legitimate company.
There are 10 types of people. Those who likes a good crack and those who likes a nice rack.
Pacifi-Crack does not offer collocations....
At least a double D?
Good old big ones, or big old good ones?
DDR. 4 preferred.
Too Many people have bought it, but you can contact me to get your discount back.
my tg:@ageing
sounds like pacifi crack
What does this mean?
(How are you associated with Pacificrack?)
There's a practice of "refunding" or "discounting" X% of the referral credits in another forum, so both parties are happy.
I will return the money I earned to you.
Damn, Pacificrack, it's been some time since I've seen that name...
I can see LET soon become "another forum", where people join just to spam their referral links for quick money, if we allow threads like this one.
New providers we never heard of might also bypass the forum rules by just register another account and claim "I have nothing to do with this company, I just found a wonderful deal that you guys might be interested".
I remember there was a guy who kept posting Time4VPS promotions here. I can't say that guy worked for Time4VPS because I got no proof, but that guy really helped Time4VPS keep their name on the front page of this forum for a long time, whenever they had a promotion.
Definitely agree
In the present case, I sense that @q409640976 is simply a customer who wanted to make some money on an affiliate link, but it's hard to be certain
Hope this doesn't end up as PacificWreck.
I wonder why Quadranet are leasing IPs from @Francisco for this project.
It can't be cheaper than using their own monthly and they've got more than enough capital to straight up buy more ranges if they're in need, so my guess would be either brand separation or they're concerned the ranges might get thoroughly soiled.
First isn't a bad thing, second might be one to watch out for @Francisco.
Pacific crack.
I don't think they care all that much considering the ranges they're already announcing on the QN AS, like 5.8.38/24, 79.110.28/24, 79.110.31/24 (same customer for all these) - 100% fraud/spam/abuse/http floods.
I'm wondering if it might make sense to carve out an "Affiliate Spam" section where these sort of threads could find a happy home?
Haven't thought too carefully about the pros and cons - but do like the possibility to find out about offers that might not otherwise appear here. And it might make for an easy dumping place for questionable posts when there's some doubt.
Colo spam er... LEB
Affiliate spam
Nice going
