Just to share a quote that I read recently by Stephen Hawking

Perhaps we should treat everything as a bonus in life.

I don't really agree. I hope I still have something to expect from life, not as a bonus but as something we deserve.

Not that I don't get the point of the quote, but Stephen Hawking have a totally different story. I think it's a little exaggerated to compare our life to that. Anyway, if you get the quote correctly it mean to fight, not accept that you are a failure ( I don't point anyone).

Btw, I'm fare from Boomer status ...

    Still no SSD32G.

    Thanked by 1FAT32
  • @Virmach you won't be able to give all of us an SSD32G for free. You can make a cheaper SSD16G with some additional IPs (for more VMs) :D

    Something we don't need.
    Something we can buy.
Something we can use just in case :joy:

@VirMach Is the lifetime SSD32G deal real? Any more clues? :)

I would say lifetime SSD32G is the best deal

Disclaimer: it's 100 months recurring. However advertisement as lifetime... so 100 could be clue here, but still no idea what the code is :)

Initially it was created based on the company's estimated lifetime, 100 months. Three years to go and I'm free!

Sure, the coupon has either "LEB" "LET" "BF" "SAVE" or "2018" in it. Please note, I didn't think this clue through so it could be wrong.

We've joked around about it. We would actually make a good amount of money with how much other large cloud companies are funneling into marketing.

We need to just make all specials SSD32G's with 3% fair shares.

  • No deal. Idling requires dedicated cores.

Another day closer to Black Friday.

I hope I keep alive for that.

EDIT: LOL. "keep alive" reminds me HTTP. I need vacations. I'm screwed.

I don't worry too much about that. They are maybe a little behind the planification, but there plenty of time before EOL. I worry more about they miss time to plan BF.

  • Another day without a free SSD32G

Maybe someone got it, but it's staying silent for us to waste time!

  • I think VirMach said they would let us know if anyone got it.

I hope VirMach does. But then, the code could have auto expired for all we know!

I'm waiting for BF. I want free SSD32G permanently (wanna pay my invoice @VirMach?) but otherwise just looking for something cheap for a Minecraft server. Don't need to empty my (nonexistent) wallet...

  • I don't believe about the SSD32G. Unless VirMach makes a screenshot of the coupon and give us the md5 and/or sha256 of the file as a proof I'm not going to continue trying :)

Sound nice, but I have a doubt that this will happen, @VirMach prove me I'm wrong.
