I've moved three domains from GD to CF since May. Was aware of the cons but didn't feel was getting conn'd.
Migrating put from GD took less than a day. We have seven or eight domains that we are trying to move to a different registrar (again out of GD) - two weeks and still not much headway for a variety of reasons. Maybe will try to port out to CF, then to the intended registrar. Good to see some alternatives mentioned here.
At worst, CF could provide a stopgap for non critical/standby/occasional use domains.

  • CF is very much Like Google: The Big Brother that smiles warmly at us all.
What could possibly be wrong with that?
