What we still don't know is if the restriction is permanent, or non-EU people will be able to order these plans later (maybe in 1-2 months, after the rush is over). I would be okay with waiting a bit.
Just FYI they're not losing money, if WSI can put an old pentium 4 out at break even of $5.26, which they suck up a ton of power then OVH can definitely do a low power atom at 3 EUR per month and still make a small profit as the hardware is already way past paid I'm assuming, and they probably pay little to nothing for hard drives with bulk discounts.
And referring to: "France has a minimum wage of almost 10 Eur an hour...", OVH is also massively understaffed... Which I'm sure everyone has noticed from all the hype this offer has brought.

I've been waiting since Thursday (the date of the start of this topic).
It does annoy me how people that ordered days after I did got their server(s) already, and I'm just here waiting for mine.. I did contact OVH and they just said the usual piece how there's high demand bla bla..
There shouldn't be such flaws in their system, especially during an offer like this.
It should be first come, first serve. Now it's unfair on a lot of people.
@blue13 same here, still waiting for ks2g since Thursday.. Sp were supposed to be ready in 24 hours, some got in 30 hours, I've waited 34 hours already.

Maybe some peoples orders were held for manual review while others were not. Everyone knows OVH simply halt over the weekend. I am sure if you are not happy they will let you cancel.
They just said they have a backlog and are working on processing orders.
All there is to do is wait.

I just got off the phone with ovh Ireland and they told me they world process refund in 20 days. From what I understand, you have to call them to have your refund processed, though they weren't specific about that, so I'm not entirely sure.
the rep was relatively vague, she said the refund process was starting. Not sure whether she meant all Kimsufi or just mine. But she did confirm that I was cancelled because I was Canadian.
Though I did manage to poke humor by trying to speak in a stereotypical posh British accent to get subtle revenge at Ovh. pointless, but fun.
Might as well just skip the bullshit and just get a Direvps.
Most likely they are referring to the fact that if you paid with a card, it may take up to 30 days for a credit card refund to be processed by the CC company to get money back on your balance. With Paypal this shouldn't apply, it's kind of unthinkable they plan to require 20 days to click a refund button in Paypal.
Still no answer on my Ticket if the VAC Problem is solved, called up OVH now they should bring me the answer and call the technician to know if it solved.
@gsrdgrdghd There is no guarantee of that. I also called Ovh and they said you get what is left. There has never been a guarantee of which cpu you get. 2 cores was misinformation. They also dont necessarily process orders in any given order, so comparing order numbers is useless. They just install how they want. There were about 5000 orders from EU pending.

@infinity580 they have patched the bug, ticket is still open because they are monitoring if it repeats
According to OVH support the 3 machine restriction is per machine type. They said I should be able to get 3xks2gs 2xks16g 1xks4g. 4th ks2g order will be cancelled and refunded. They have a double verification process for refunds. They just cant click a button because they have had false refunds before. Although I mentioned Oles tweet, at least those who ordered before should get them. They werent sure if the restriction is for all ks servers total, but they said I'll get them. Theyll cancel if you have more than 3 of any one type.
