Anyhow, sometimes back someone did shared the basic infrastructure detail. I dont remember correctly but LET/B was hosted in some kind of cluster of 3 servers or whatever, just ignore. Enjoy Sunday.

A quick update based on what I’ve been told:
The DoS (Denial of Service) was caused by ~10-20 Mbit/s of rogue traffic (layer 7)
The attack ended around an hour ago
Edit: made the attack type more clear.
It was down for me for 1-2 hours
Waaaait 10-20mbit was enough to kill the server??... So what then is the point of cloudflare then if barely any traffic kills it xD. Srsly that sounds like a 7$/yr vps of the finest quality lol
It was a DoS on the application layer (i.e. Vanilla).
Having said that, the 20 Mbit/s was the total BW being pushed per second by a (likely) few thousand requests.
not sure why you need to taped it? you don't really need a case to make the computer to function properly.
apparently it took a hot minute for LET admins to explain the urgency of the situation to the Deluxe accounting department

Please setup haproxy with a 30 sec cache... This will instantly fix ddos attacks on layer 7.
