No, M just wrote that to blame itself
Been about 18 hours and no requests for ID yet. Not cancelled, either.
Hum, I havebeen trying to order on the french site, however, for 2g price is:
ABONNEMENT 8,97 €
Is there some promo code or something ?
"the payment of 2,99 €/month is very low and to avoid too important bank charges, the payment is for 3 months minimum."
8,97 € / 3 = 2,99 €
That's the total amount due for 3 months.
For people who haven't caught on yet: http://imgur.com/n21GMqK
The majority of the Kimsufi cancellations are due to a new clause inserted overnight stating: "Exclusively available for residents of the European Union only."
The EU customers will not face cancellations (AFAIK), but Canadians and Americans will see their orders being cancelled one by one.
The bigger question is whether they've already charged our cards and will be refunding us, or if they haven't even charged us yet.
They charged mine for 3 months of KS2G and KS16...
Credit Card or Paypal?
Paypal
Votre paiement a été validé, merci d'avoir choisi OVH.
Lets see
This is new: a loyalty program to get extra failover IPs without paying the 15 euros for a professional use subscription

I was talking about credit cards. For Paypal, you have dispute resolution.
Saw that, somebody said it doesn't apply to KS servers even though Octave specifically says "entitled to three IP FO without professional use with each server."
Cool
I suppose this does not apply to the 3 Eur ks ?
Anyone called OVH yet, to enquire about the "cancelled" word in the product name?
No, the Gravelines 2.99 cheapos are routed differently and are limited to 1 IP.
People, be patient.
It's the damn weekend in France, you will be none the wiser before Monday.
You are already talking about disputing PayPal transactions, or calling your credit company to arrange chargebacks.
It's not like you are going to die during the weekend if you don't get the matter solved immediately.
I know it can be annoying to wait, not knowing the outcome for certain, but this IS NOT SERIOUS BUSINESS! Relax.
I guess it depends on what your going to use it for.
anyway, dont get me wrong, i think this dedi's is a fantastic deal, but I dont think its the death of LEB's thats all there is still a place for VPS's even with dedi's this cheap.
Cheers!
is that new? Mine says:
Kemsirve 2G - 3 mes
They should have thought of that when they decided to change their policy on a friday to exclude me and not provide a refund right then and there.
Do they ask for ID if you have an address in France?
It's been 36 hours since i ordered with a setup time of 24 hours. Do we get an email when the server is up or do we have to check the manager?
Yes, you get email with login details when setup is done.
update: Its now 9:50AM in Paris. I'm trying to call 'em but nobody answers my calls !
I've just asked on the forum and another poster told me that according to the support new servers will be deployed beginning monday, so you shouldn't really expect to have any luck this weekend.
I'm from Germany and I placed my order over ovh.de. I paid immediately after ordering with PayPal. That was on 25.07 19:55. They advertised 2 Cores, 4 Threads and 24hrs set uptime. And my order wasn't canclled and neither I did receive an email about any verfication. I think only non European orders get cancelled.
Same.
Guess this is a limited time promotion for EU customers only? Has to be, since there is no way this is financially viable for them.
I'm not in a hurry to get the server, right now I'm concern about the sudden cancellation for all non-European orders, u know we made our orders & payments before they even invented this exclusive availability BS lol
Your'e absolutely right!
I'd guess they removed non-EU orders for now because they require significantly more support time (checking legal documents, removing VAT, etc)
