So, no additional (failover) IP addresses for the new Kimsufi servers? Looks like they disabled the menu item. It's still there on my older Kimsufi but not on the 4G they delivered yesterday. In addition to this, I also cannot route an existing failover IP to the new 4G. WTF.

There are many IPv6 address so you don't need additional IP.

Has anyone succeeded in calling them to ask about what will happen next after our orders have been cancelled ? and why ? I'm trying to call the at +33820698765 but with no success.

  • xsetxset Member

@pandogulf you might have to wait a while to get a refund until they sort this mess. better if you file a support ticket.

  • I'm trying to call the at +33820698765 but with no success.

It's 2 AM in France. Most billing and sales departments work Monday-Friday during normal business hours (i.e. 9-5). Try Monday morning...

    Dropped a ticket for KS16.

They have already provisioned mini-SP, that was about 20 hours.

disclosure: just received notice of a chargeback on a payment that we had refunded in full 2 weeks prior to the chargeback being filed so the mere mention of the word chargeback is enough to cause me to emit a string of curse words. Customer knew a refund had been issued and is trying to pull the old double dip chargback scam. grrr,,,,

Provider changed terms of service before providing product.

I'm saying if they cancel I'm going to. If they provide a refund, that's me getting my charge, for lack of a better word, back.

Ordered roughly 24 hours ago and sent in verification docs (new customer/US). I haven't seen a response to the verification email, and the display order page says my account isn't validated yet.

Have any US or .ie customers had their servers provisioned yet?

TBH i do not understand what is there. Said the order execution as completed and yet cancelled while in the dedi list everything is 1 but the price is 0.

YOu got the server or not ?

  • No M, he's the same as me. We're cancelled

    Just a wee hint. Context.

I said they pulled their dick out the pot. That means they aren't providing.

I don't blame you. It's not a well defined expression. To most people, I think pulled out is sufficient, although being foreign I'd get it if you didn't catch on.

OK, i'll go and order one for the heck of it, see if this goes through, i will even provide documents if they ask, just to see if they provide anything in the end.

I've noticed that all cancellation orders here were for the 3 months, so
have anyone tried to order for 6 months ? or a year ?

@ErawanArifNugroho Om, did they ask for documents? Over 24 hours from my order, no email asking IDs or verifications. It's got "cancelled" too, though.

  • daviddavid Member

When I check under "orders in progress" my order is listed as cancelled, too.

    "Kimsufi 2G - 3 mois - cancelled"

I put in a request for a refund.

  • @DalComp, Nggak om :(
I'm ordering since yesterday, 3AM, and just realized it last night that my order is cancelled. Hm...

  • daviddavid Member

You'd think they'd issue the refund automatically at the same time they cancel the order, and have the courtesy to email you, but maybe things are done differently in France.

We've weekend in Western Europe. This means people that are not necessary for critical operations have free time. This might be uncommon in the rest of the world. Wait for the start of the new week.

In OVH's defense... we don't really know what's going on because they haven't told us. Everyone who has talked to customer service has been told everything is fine. Maybe these servers got released early or something (the original site said available 29 July) or anything else.

I've submitted a ticket and waiting to be approved for the OVH.IE forum and I'll ask questions over there. The OVH.IE forum is not very lively, the OVH.CO.UK forum is but I can't join that one. Anyone in the UK want to post a question in the OVH.CO.UK forum (forum.ovh.co.uk)?

Same here too, submitted the required documents last night via e-mail and they haven't responded back. Everything else seems to be fine though. It didn't have any method of paying, so haven't paid them anything yet. One (automated) e-mail I got back said something about after my account gets verified they will send out an invoice for payment. Guess we'll just have to wait till Monday and see what happens from there, unless something happens in the mean time.

    I don't think duration matters.

I am an existing customer (a few years) and I tried to purchase a 2g for 6 months and a 16g for 3 months and both say cancelled.

No worry, OVH will deliver to their long standing customers, this is just a blip, it is impossible that @maounique is ever right. Because @maounique hates OVH is making bad predictions and bad mouths them, however, as it was proved all the time, OVH is great and will force all VPS providers out of business by providing dedicated servers at lower prices ! Eat that @maounique, you will die hungry tortured by envy and hatred in a corner !
