@Thehzm
We've ACL Manager, and it is similar to reseller functionality and by default, there are 3 ACLs.
And you can also create your own ACL and assign them to users, more details at https://cyberpanel.net/docs/1-managing-users/
And not sure what do you mean by VPS control plus? But we recently added Docker Manager https://cyberpanel.net/docs/1-getting-started-with-cyberpanel-docker-manager/
@Server
Not yet, but it was not often requested. If it is often requested on our forums we can consider adding.
This control panel looks promising. I've tried the demo for the client for a few minutes.
The panel requires too many clicks to perform an action. The features you are offering is good for a free/affordable alternative to cPanel. However, the user interface needs to be more user friendly, and similar to cPanel. I mentioned cPanel because it is the most popular control panel for shared hosting. Someone might be tempted against using it due to the fact that the GUI is so different.
i still cant install it always says cant install pip on centos 7 and ubuntu 18.04
Awesome send me login detail
@MechanicWeb
We recently changed our interface but the demo is not yet updated. File manager was also completely redone.

Excited!
Does CyberPanel have REST API?
Is there some work in progress? NOTE: CPanel does not have a REST API.
What programming language does CyberPanel use?
@bountysite
We have a public API with documentation that is currently being used by WHMCS and Blesta Module -> https://cyberpanel.docs.apiary.io/
Apart from that, we have an API used by our Cloud Platform and its code is available here -> https://github.com/usmannasir/cyberpanel/blob/1.8.0/cloudAPI/cloudManager.py
Though it is not documented, and CyberPanel is made using Python (Django).
Awesome!
Good choice with python.
Seems really nice!
Why open_basedir isn't enabled by default for each site? Wouldn't it be more secure for a multi user environment?
@datanoise
Some times open_basedir create issues for people applications, by default
/home/domain.com
is711
so other users won't enter the directory.Can you support PHP 5.2, we have a lot of such requirements.
Hell, if you're paying for it, I can support PHP 4.
I use it by my self... Nice that you provide a Whmcs module
how much?
Plenty, but I don't make Cyberpanel.
@killjin
PHP 5.2 is not really a good idea.
My customer, he likes CyberPanel. We have some issues when using but we have solved them.
I think their main issue is WHMCs/Blesta compatibility, none of the plugins really work, all manual. Besides that, in latest versions they have improved a lot.
Many of our customers are still using php5.2 and encrypting them. These corporate websites don't have the idea of a revision.
For WHMCS, you can submit bug report so it can be check. Others have complained about it as well but till now, everyone had something wrong with configuration but module was fine.
Trying the cli as root, [root@~]# cyberpanel -h
-bash: /usr/bin/cyberpanel: Permission denied
How to fix it?
@Projectpop
how to make php 5.2 rpm or support?
I already posted a comment in a relevant thread in Cyberpanel's forums. There is a major security hole regarding rainloop installation and, after 15 days, there is no answer or a fix for that.
The 'data' folder, that has to be protected from external access, is wide open!
You have left exposed all the files inside rainloop data folder. For example, I can download from https://xxxx:8090/rainloop/data/data/default/configs/ the file application.ini that has all the details (database password etc.).
I am not familiar with openlitespeed configs, I tried several things searching google using htaccess inside folder or to the vhost file, but either they don't work or they break installation.
You have to provide a fix asap.
It would be nice to be able to import cPanel accounts
@kauriman you can import by mysqldump and rsync.
@jvnadr
Thank you for reminding again, the thread was some weeks ago and it seems we did respond. It was fixed, but we recently made major changes to LSCPD code and removed gunicorn, so some context settings were also changed.
It has now been fixed again.
Thank you.
Nice of you! What was the fix? Can you share how is the proper way to disable external web access to folders like the 'data' folder of rainloop, as this could be done with htaccess and "deny all" to apache?
Thanks in advance
Is there a CyberPanel guide written for those of us not so experienced with the CLI?
@kauriman Check out this tutorial https://blog.cyberpanel.net/2018/04/30/wp-migration-from-any-control-panel-to-cyberpanel/
