I think they Just removed the Bill. Thank you all for your Kind responses.
Yes But it has just been removed from the control panel again.
Total PMS meltdown averted.
PMS, PMS everywhere. The end is nigh nevertheless.
i would call them if they have phone service. this amount is questionable and you have the right to get clear information....
update us when you have new news.
relax and don't let this have a sleepless weekend.
It has been Removed.
I hope you learned a lesson here.
Always cancel service you are not using, especially "trials". This may have been merely "Draft" but may not be next time.
If all else fail, just come to LET and have PMS.
OH thank god.
now how about you inviting us for some food
No Doubt about that.
You almost had to get a new identity and move to North Korea.
Yeah probably. The credit report for hosting providers.
Just got this from Scaleway:
In before, non-draft (real) invoice of 666 euro.
I would do that only if I got serious DMCA claim with my real name on it .
Reverend Neoon has spoken.
Just relax man and work with them through this, getting jumpy will not help at all. Have them explain the bill and see if it is in error. It might very well be a mistake, but we can not tell you if it is. Only the host can and hopefully this works out clean for you.
😦
What's your story about "666"?
The 666 apostles of the endisnigh order.
What the fuck service charges so much for 5 days of no data stored or transferred? That makes no sense.
Edit: commented before seeing invoice removed.
it made sense to Kafka ...
EDIT2:
it was a trial bill.
If it made any sense, it wouldn't have been on LET.
Send them a bill for the cleaning of your soiled underwear.
you should never ever ask .
@Mridul Are you okay? Get some milk and a cookie to calm down.
F*ck you I'm Batman
Guys,
this has been resolved already and they have even sent a separate email with details for the wrong bill.
This is why I use a virtual credit card (eg. Privacy.com) for trials, and set the card's spend limit to be very low. If the provider tries to charge me after the trial ends, the transaction is declined. It's helped with trials that I forgot I even had (eg. A six-month Pandora trial that I totally forgot about)
How does virtual credit card protect you from an unpaid bill?
Just like you give a company a fake check. If they couldn't cash that check, they would send you to debt collection.
Depends on if the service is prepaid or postpaid. If it's prepaid (as a lot of services are) then they'll generally just cancel your account. Even if it's postpaid, most companies will drop the bill if you tell them you were using a free trial and didn't realise the trial had expired (of course, you'd be best to talk to them in this case).
I'm from India too ...... Don't worry, only you have to block your debit/credit card (if you shared with them). And forgot the bill, no one can do anything.
