Buffalo, land of infinite servers - KVM Windows.
LA - KVM Windblows.
20 GB SSD.
Not so much because that deal didn't have Windows included
It had. I was successful in getting this deal. There was an option on the next screen to choose Windows and the VPS was deployed with Win 2008 R2.
Buffalo, land of infinite servers - KVM WIndows.
Does Virmach allow remote mount file system with KVM?
Can we buy additional SSD later? I see 20GB SSD is useless for Windows
kvm 1GB RAM/15GB SSD/1x vCPU@3GHz/400GB Bw/Buffalo
VirMach is located mostly at ColoCrossing data centers and they don't know what IPv6 is.
I'm not sure if IPv6 is offered in some of the non-ColoCrossing datacenters where VirMach has servers, perhaps @VirMach can clarify.
You lucky bastard.
Buffalo - Land of infinite servers - KVM Windows
20 GB SSD.
These deals are getting worse.
Buffalo, land of infinite servers - KVM Windows
Bench.sh on my $24 server
VIRTUALIZATION KVM – 1 GIGABIT
RAM 6272MB DEDICATED RAM
CPU 2x FAIR SHARE CPU vCORE
HDD 35GB SSD (RAID 10)
BANDWIDTH 1500GB BANDWIDTH
LOCATION DALLAS, TX LOCATION
IPs 1 DEDICATED IPv4
The CPU frequency looks a bit low (2.4Ghz) but the IO and connection seems good.
KVM Special 4 is the best, with the promo code it's $26/yr for:
– 4GB RAM
– 3x vCPU @ 3GHz
– 40GB SSD (RAID 10)
– 2TB Bandwidth
– 10Gbps uplink
– 1x Dedicated IPv4
– KVM/SolusVM
– Windows & Linux

@donli, @virmach can we buy additional SSD space for this, I do see I did a mistake if I can't buy extra SSD (I bought it, regret now
) due to SSD space.
No need to make a ticket, we know and are fixing the issue.
Definitely open a ticket if its 11.6 total with less than a gig left free. Just in case you mean 11.6 free after the operating system is installed, that would be expected.
Recurring.
We don't have a script that discounts Buffalo. There may be other factors affecting the price more in Buffalo.
That just means you can use it all and not break our AUP. When we give dedicated cores for high CPU KVM packages, it's the same thing. We've modified it to remove "dedicated" to avoid any confusion.
Sometimes Windows just goes crazy. Our system is better now at filtering out these spikes. However, if you're just idling, theres still a possibility of your service paging heavily or maxing out usage for an extended period of time on Windows.
It's definitely not the best operating system you can use, especially if it's not being monitored and it's a special.
What's with the disk?
Your benchmark shows 58 GB!
IDK even solusVM says 35gb, shhhh
Buffalo, land of infinite servers.
Very large - ram, ssd, cpu. OpenVZ, of course.
@VirMach Welcome Back! Need a bit of help. I purchased a regular KVM4 Special Deal and it created two instances and charged me once with the higher rate (pre- 35% promo code) and the second one with the lower rate showed unpaid. Can this be resolved? Not sure why the cart glitched on me...
Dallas - KVM
Texas - where everything is bigger (except apparently their SSDs).
It would have displayed that you're purchasing two of them in the cart and on the invoices, and it would show discount is only applied to a single service. We don't have any information that would lead us to believe this could occur otherwise, but we'll investigate.
Private message me with more details.
I think you just need to expand your disk on Windows.
Buffalo, famous for football field size datacenters - KVM Windows
Pretty bummed, randomly woke up during the night and checked the flash deal at the time and it was my ideal machine in LA and literally just missed it. Almost like I knew to wake up, just too late.
Oh well, grabbed a few others not that I actually have much to do with them, idle boxes they are!
Buffalo - KVM
High ram, low disk.
These 10GB SSD needs to go
Well they are selling them to somebody.
Will you suspend on updates or just throttle it? I would definitely not care if it took 10 hours to run the update but I'd not want my VM suspended during a windows update, corrupting everything.
Not as far as I know - that's why when I see a 20 GB Windows deal come up I specifically note the 20 GB - it's a tight fit for Windows.
Frankfurt - KVM Windows
People of EU - wake up.
