Since you just deal with SYS/Kimsufi, do you have a suggestion on who to talk to that'll hear out hardware suggestions for the OVH brand? The lack of customization is one reason I wish OVH did colo for the protection instead of forcing set plans that change yearly. Anyways a cheap server with 4TB disk would be great in BHS. I need something for storage and right now I do most of that off of the network.
I work for OVH, whatever the brands. Just start a need topic and ping me, i'll be glad to discuss OVH portfolio too. By the way we are refreshing the storage range, start the topic and i'll present it to you !
I'd like to know more about this, I have a couple FS-30T and would like something with more disk if possible, but the FS-48T-L is much more expensive than the comparable 48TB online.net server. That said, I prefer OVH over online.net so if you have some new storage servers that fit my needs I'd like to buy some.
Something comparable to this(https://www.online.net/en/dedicated-server/dedibox-st18) would be cool too.
since it's not so "low end" server, can we talk about it in LET/providers section or will I disgress the rules ?
I would jus tlike to finally get a E3-SSD-1-16 in CA
Bandwidth upgrade for kimsufi line @wokenwoll?
Ow dont in kimsufi please. Need ips
Heh, I see ECC events logged regularly even on new servers. See also this:

It's old enough to talk about systems with 256MB of memory. Of course the problem is even worse now.
Yes I do sometimes see weird or unexpectedly non-deterministic results on my Hetzner i7 box. I haven't established for sure that it's flaky memory, but got an Online E3 box with ECC to get some protection against the issue.

Oh God, a djb link.
Coincidentally, those shitty Crapterons at Dedicenter sure like to throw random L3 errors when the CPUs are used, too. Good thing recent kernels have L3 cache workarounds so the CPU doesn't just wedge solid.
