what do you use cheap NAT VPS for?
I am thinking to buy one as it is dirt cheap.
Other than blog, simple website and OpenVPN server, what can you use it for?
They seem to not allow torrent, not allow to use CPU and disk too much....
To upload content/media into my GDrive, I want to mount my Google Drive in NAT VPS and use the server as downloader via wget or web-torrent client but i am not sure if it is allowed/technically possible too.
So those who buy these, what do you use it for?

My NAT VPS idle hard.
Also, monitoring systems.
You may need kvm instead of OVZ if you are planning remote mounting (Google Drive).

NAT VPS are great for SSH proxying!
They are cheap, you don't need much ressources (SSH ofc) and
you don't really care about ports.
Thats the way to go for proxys all around the globe :-)
I'm using SSH Proxy software for mac OS for simple one click connect.
Mining
Two NATS at the same time.
From what I read OVZ also support FUSE if we ask the provider to enable it. IS this not the case with NAT VPS?
Only when they do BJ
I keep my horse porn mirrored on it.
You are right. But I only got silence as answer when I requested that.
Harambe didn't die for that
ZNC
Check website for update and send message alert. (planned, soonTM)
That will most likely get you terminated.
I allow Fuse and if its not enabled on your server, I’m happy to help.
@jamuja
What do you use your ”regular” vps for?
Unfortunately I had mine with a worst provider U_U. Next time. Thanks!
Privoxy/Shadowsocks to foil the NSA!
I installed tinyproxy on it so I can use it as a proxy through a ssh tunnel and be able to listen to pandora overseas.
I've found they're good for almost anything a regular small VPS is good for, except a few services like DNS that require binding specific ipv4 ports.
Quadhost?
ssh proxy, and jump host to other VPS
I collect them...
just kidding, i use this for vpn and proxy... for now
MSP
Hosting a stream site.
Oh, right... MSP. How could i forget the pain?

As long as you don't use the CPU 100% all the time or continuously run dd tests it should be fine with a NAT VPS.
Garry's Mod servers.
