Good choice. And with KVM, you have better options to play with. If you already understand how to set up VPN (OpenVPN?) properly, then take a look at Streisand
for now I tried my luck with Softether package and L2TP VPN, it works, but I will definitely try other VPN protocols just for fun. BTW I am quite impressed with the speed, between me in Poland and my VPS the ping is around 150 ms and the connection speed when using VPN is about 25 Mbps, so not bad at all especially when compare other hosts in the us that I tried in the past it was much much worse, my ping for example was about 500 ms.
