Storage VPS or Dedi for ~10Eur/USD month?
Is there anything out there with 1-2TB with "enough" bandwidth.
So far my choices are:
https://www.hostsolutions.ro/eng/hosting/cheap-storage-vps
https://www.time4vps.eu/storage-servers/
I hear @cociu has had problems with his storage VPSs so i'm a bit reluctant to buy it. and meanwhile I know nothing of time4vps ranges.. Kimsufi is an option too..
What do you people recommend for best value for money?
I'm having multiple problems with my online.net server so I'll ditch it next month. Right now im bypassing their horrible internal routing with failover IP from another subnet with another gateway from the mainserver. It's still a fucking nightmare lol.

I think @cociu is sorted now, but maybe best drop him a PM to make sure he can fulfill orders within 24 hours if that’s what you need.
Whether Time4VPS is a good fit depends on what you’re doing - they keep prices low by limiting performance of the VM.
It would be for syncing data back and forth continuously. It's pretty IO/Bandwidth heavy usage but 200 IOPS is more than enough for my application needs.
Time4VPS are going to give you the performance they state, so they're a safe bet, bear in mind the monthly price is €9.99.
Speak to @cociu first though, see what he can do for you.
OneProvider have €15 C2750's in stock, you may get lucky and one of the €10 i3's pops up.
@AshleyUK might be able to do you something custom if it's just for a couple of months.
There's also Wishosting's NAT-based storage vps. Don't think I've ever heard any complaints about them. 1TB of space in a KVM for $6.99/mo, not too shabby. Only downside is the 2TB traffic cap.

If it was possible to order multiple VPS and stack those, with a Dedicated IP, I would not resist.
I believe they can be stacked, based on previous responses by @exception0x876. As far as adding a dedicated IP, not likely.
Thats nice. The dedicated IP will be needed though. Lets see what he will come up with and I'll go ahead with 2TB to start with.
I can do 10TB @ 100mbits (1Gbit burst)
2TB = $20/month
zxhost,speedykvm
Location?
Can anyone beat the:
Time4vps offer
In price or speccs if adding a little price?
I would go for @cociu but he only has 15TB @ 1Gbps compared to 20TB @ 200Mbps
Have a look at this: https://www.treudler.net/virtual-server/storage/ or maybe this storage vps https://www.treudler.net/sales/ 1TB for 10€/3m
10Gbps shared and unlimited.. that looks pretty solid to be honest.. Any reviews of this?
Thier quality is great for the price the 10gbps is shared but I never went under 1gbps when I owned a VPS.
Within OVH DC in Canada(BHS) or France(GRA)
Do you have one with them right now? If so, can you post a benchmark?
Perhaps @Treudler can give us more information. Moreover I would like to know if @Treudler make legal invoices with their services (we declare all the EU VAT invoices) because from his website: https://www.treudler.net/legal/ says:
not 10 dollars but SYS are a good bet.
https://www.soyoustart.com/en/server-storage/
It's a small business with probably a low revenue so they're VAT exempt. It's not stated on their invoices which should be the case according to German law.
Thank you @Saragoldfarb .
Anyway, should @Treudler have an EU VAT Number written in the invoice so I can declare it, right?
I am looking forward to try it .
As they're VAT exempt they probably have no VAT No. You can file the invoice in your administration but not for VAT as you don't pay any.
small businesses here are not really like "VAT exempt", it's more VAT always being included in the price but they are not allowed to declare it separatly. they don't need to forward it to the tax-authorities and the invoiced businesses therefore can't declare it to get it back. but that should only apply while doing national business...
and yes that fact and §19 UStG have to be mentioned on the (national) invoice too.
imho for dealing with international customers especially other businesses that does not apply and his invoices are always dealt like without VAT, so you (as business customer) need to declare them as reverse charge (if applicable, usually only within EU).
yes he should have a VAT ID for that european invoicing.
most probably MOSS applies to that business too, so he would need to charge VAT for private customers in the EU depending on their location and declare it via MOSS. afair the german §19 does not get him exempted from that.
Thanks. Those can't be stacked but extra disk space is possible.
Any offer with dedicated IP?
Shouldn’t you be saving for your busted car?
WOW, going to test it!
I have a dedicated proxy IP with one of their nat storage plans
Additional proxy IP for incoming connections is possible.
Does treudler ignore DCMA? I could change cociu 1TB vps for theirs VPS-HDD-LET. Interested in small tor non-exit, light torrenting and backup solution. Any advice?
Do you can please post a bench here?
Thanks!
