Any recommendations for SSL frontend/proxy for Django website (other than cloudflare)

I wanted to convert my site to SSL. I know the cloudflare option. I know self hosting option. Are there any other services that can act as frontend proxy? Ideally, with failover.. if one node is down, use another node. thx

  • If I'm understanding your requirements, maybe BunnyCDN would work (You'll have to use a different domain for your frontend). I'm currently using it as a frontend for my blog (backed with Github Pages).

If you do use it, aff link is on my sig. :P

You could use nghttpx and not only get support for regular HTTPS, but implement HTTP/2 at the same time with no extra effort required.
