If I'm understanding your requirements, maybe BunnyCDN would work (You'll have to use a different domain for your frontend). I'm currently using it as a frontend for my blog (backed with Github Pages).

You could use nghttpx and not only get support for regular HTTPS, but implement HTTP/2 at the same time with no extra effort required.
