hosting 1 website on 2 vps ?

is it possible to host 1 website examplesite.com on 2 vps ?
with same data one in us and another one in Europe...if one vps goes down it should not effect site ?

    I've used dnsmadeeasy.com before for something like this, but the problem with DNS failover, is that it does take time to kick in. I found using a Rackspace load balancer to do snappy IP failover/load balancing was a much better purchase, even if it is a little more expensive. It's a bit more difficult to setup, but primarily very easy as look as your keep your sites rsynced.

  • Wat about rond Robin DNS? I read it somewhere but never really got into it.
