We have decided to hold off on posting any more offers for a period of time to ensure the current services work properly and to focus on going through the backlog of tickets. Once we're done ensuring each new service works properly (as there are some reports with SolusVM issues above) we may post more offers.

Keep the page bookmarked, as we will not be able to continue updating the LET thread:
    https://virmach.com/special-offers

Also keep an eye out for our exciting Cyber Monday offers on LEB.

    Already have mine fixed.

  • My ticket's apparently been bumped to "Awaiting Sys. Admin" without an actual update to the ticket, I wanna mess with my new stuff already :(

  • Thank you guys for running such a kickass series of promotion. The rotating offers were something new and kept everybody hitting refresh. It was definitely more interesting than listing all the offers at once!

  • Got the 512 one, and now I'm deeply worrying what should I do with that VPS.

Which 512 one? There was more than one, IIRC.

Got the Buffalo KVM 512. Purchased and now have to think what to do with this.

Contacted support... Instead of 1.5gb they are offering the SSD1G package for $2.64.. same price, 33℅ less RAM.. Plus it's only single core - deal was for 2 core... 50% less processor...

With max mind problems and now a much lesser deal... Meh... You guys think it's still worth it, or is there a better KVM deal out there? It's not a similar plan at all as @VirMach said... :(

Wait for Cyber Monday. Virmach said they'll have more deals.

  • As for my issue posted about previously, my IP got dinged on their iptables on the node apparently for "too many ssh connections".

    Thats...annoying.

Just saw some of their coupons on another site... The price they are offering me for the 1Gb is actually MORE expensive than their regular coupon offers!

    ★ 1GB RAM ★ KVM – Only Linux

    1 vCore @ 2GHz
    10GB Disk – SSD RAID 10
    1TB Bandwidth @ 1Gbps
    1 IPv4 – Additional Available
    SolusVM/KVM – Linux
    $21.00 Annually

Hoping for big things on CyberMonday!

There is a slight variation to our nodes we use for those two plans. The sale servers had less disks and therefore relatively more CPU power. What I can do is offer you an SSD2G plan. It will have the same amount of disk, a little more RAM, but the trade-off is that it would still be one core. Private message me here with your ticket ID and I will take over.

As for your question, I think it's definitely worth it if you need a licensed Windows VPS. I believe this is the lowest-priced Windows deal we have ever done that hasn't been annually.

Please create a ticket to resolve this issue. We can override false positives by our automatic systems.

When you factor in the specifications and monthly term instead of annual, this was definitely a better deal. I can see why you were upset being being offered the SSD1G plan though. As I've said, please let me know if you're interested and I can bump it up to an SSD2G plan. You're also free to wait until Cyber Monday, but please understand that we may not be able to offer you this specific plan due to your situation once servers begin filling up for Cyber Monday and we receive another batch of high volume tickets.

This would be single Vprocessor though correct? I guess my trade off would be the extra ram... guess I'll have to wait for Cybermonday and hope some good deals come up... The 2 Vcpus caught my eye and I guess now are unavailable...

I'll move this to your ticket system... Ticket # 123502

@VirMach what timezone you getting these hourly Cyber Monday deals started in? :)

Cyber Monday deals will start @ 3AM Eastern US Time, on the 28th of November.

The "Special Offers" page may be updated earlier (today) with some deals. We're not sure if we're doing hourly deals again this time around. As interesting as it was, we're still dealing with a lot of tickets in regards to people being marked as fraud or having other issues. If we do, they definitely will not be hourly, as we have to ensure they go more smoothly. Probably every 4 hours? Anyway, no guarantees so don't quote me on any of this.

Updated cache, price should now show. Sorry about the change of design for the box. If enough people care about it, we can change it back to the simple green color box we used on Friday.

  • The price is more expensive than before.

It's because of the new box design...

Welcome to the nature of time limited rotating deals.

There was an error in the published sale - the CPU is actually 2.1GHz. This error has been corrected. If you ordered before this was updated and no longer wish to have the server, you may contact us for a refund.

kendid said: It's because of the new box design...

That was a major factor in the increased cost.

After a new box design again... it wasn't liked by all...

Actually I think it's going to be a longer duration -- not like before... So maybe every couple of hours as I understand... Just keep checking!

Price has been lowered, anyone who ordered when it was $15 please contact us for a partial refund.

    When have new offer?

Nothing set in stone, sorry. This may be the only offer since we're so close to Cyber Monday. We're busy setting up new servers for the sale tomorrow as well as answering current backlog of tickets.

Do you have more monthly deals planned? That LA monthly OVZ deal was bomb, but too bad I slept through that. Deals staying on for longer this time will definitely help.

I would be very interested in another OpenVZ VPS deal in the East Coast. I have missed the previous OpenVZ offer in Piscataway, NJ with 30GB SSD and 2 cores. Personally, I don't need much bandwith (200-250GB is already enough for me).
