Here is my benchmark result for Hosting 1.
Weird, big different from the result by @Saragoldfarb.
Let me try with other network card.
Network result still bad. Any idea, @vStoike?
Rotterdam, Netherlands id3.net 32.0MB/s
Haarlem, Netherlands Leaseweb 39.8MB/s
Im still not sure why there is a 10times difference in network speed between these 2 tests %) but even "lowest" result are good and "as-expected"
Ran another on to make sure. Results are about the same as my previous benchmark. Weird.
What is the limitation set on the cpu? How much cpu can I use continually?
I think you should investigate why have the two big difference result.
not more than 75% for a long period of time (>6h) Its documented in ToS.
I was pleasantly surprised by the results actually. Anyway, if you want to look into it lemme know and I'll PM you the account details.
@vStoike IPV6?
2 things - these results are anonymous(hard to investigate) and none of the results are lower than expected.
Plus I know nothing about this test and it could be many things
Sure, /64 per VPS.
PM me please with the VPS IP address and some info about this test :
1) always this result?
2) this test uses ipv4 or ipv6?
Thank you !
@Saragoldfarb @seikan which OS distros do you use? For the bad result, did you try with Debian 8 x64?
Just checked and noticed that Ramnode have offer also:

@vStoike: Is any kind of anti-ddos included with those kvms?
We have discounted our prices for KVM Servers https://galaxyhostplus.com/kvm/
We probably do more discounts in next few hours with OpenVZ, Webhosting, Domains, Hosted Tab
So it's @vstoike first out of the gates with the first FUCKING MENTAL offer of the year? Who would have thought it!
Who's going to beat it? Can anyone beat it?
No, sorry, not for these servers. If there will be big attack on your IP we will just blackhole it for some time.
yeah very much surprised i'll get one from @vstoike , super offer
thank you.
Ramnode offer is decent, not 'shit-the-fucking-bed' quality but it's Ramnode so it doesn't need to be. Only second place tho, @vstoike still sitting pretty at the top of the league table.
There's a fucking idea, I'm going to run a LET deals league table over the 24 hours of US Black Friday.
Who will win? I don't fucking care, I just want more cheap shit.
vStoike become #1 on Black Friday challenge
According to ovh_fr twitter account, what to expect for Black Friday:
1€ .fr and .com registration
50% discount on the VPS line (annual only)
60€ for their dedicated SP-64-S
+tax
To all of which LET gives the finger. Not even going on the league table. Cunts.
Apparently LeaseWeb's deals are shit as well, just discounted old dedis.
Hi there,
OVH.com will also do a Black Friday
on VPS, Dedicated servers, Private Cloud, Domain names VDI, ...
I'll post tomorrow, awaiting LET staff approval
Basically, it will be 50% off on all new orders on VPS (all ranges, all countries)
(if you chose 12months commitment)
==> ovh.blackfriday, starting at 00h00 FR time
When we think OVH, we think Dedi. Do us something mental on a handful of servers, limited LET special or something, we love you long time.
You've got a rabid, loyal audience here, give'em something to get all frothy over.
50% off on the VPS-SSD is a solid deal as is. Only if they would make it recurring, and if each VPS had an IPv6 /64 like at vStoike, then it'd be perfect.
Secondly, OVH doesn't really need black fridays to put out crazy deals (remember KS3C, KS4C, SP64D anyone?:)
