Nekki's random request of the week: small dedi
Afternoon, ass-bastards,
I'm looking for a small dedi, minimum spec as follows:
A CPU a couple of steps up from an Atom, but any old shit will do
2GB RAM
60GB SSD (a pair would be great)
100Mbit port
500GB data transfer
Location can be anywhere except the US.
Price would need to be in the region of $10-$15.

Try scaleway
Hello @nekki
For that specs and price i can offer you a high performance VPS
2 Core's (2x Intel Xeon E5 2620v4) 2GB DDR4 - 60GB SSD (raid10) - 100Mbps unmetered - location NL - for €10 each month or with 4 core for €15 each month
Wow! That's a relief! Only a small dedi!
When I read "Nekki's random request of the week", I was expecting something much much worse.
Yeah, fuck the ARM cores. Other plans are overkill.
Thanks chap but I want a dedi, VPS ain't going to cut it.
I can understand how you might have anticipated something horrific. Let's all just hope I never mix this place up with a couple of the 'Clips4Sale' sites I frequent.
What's your budget? Did you check the offer forum?

What's wrong with Atoms?
If you can stretch to $20, I have something of use in the UK.
Try oneprovider's paris 7 euro dedicated.
It has everything you mentioned except a ssd, and only a VIA nano which are complete shit.
What do you want to run ? You get dedicated cores
Atom N2800 $17.99 France
Indeed, also their plans have dedicated x86 cores
hmmmm Kimsufi reselling dam.
I mean on my offer not scaleway
@bear - It's in the wrong forum and he is spamming signature.
he said $10-$15!!!!
why keep posting offers for more than that range?
Check online.net
https://www.online.net/en/dedicated-server#perso
But I'm afraid that you'll have to pay setup fees
@Nekki
Are you sure the 11.99 plan won't work for you?
https://www.scaleway.com/pricing/#pricing_baremetal
yea how did you guess? hahaha but cheaper than current prices w/o setup
They're lovely in Netbooks.
I can't, budget is fixed unfortunately.
Yeah, will swerve that.
I'm going to assume trolling.
I like dedicated servers, that's all there is to it.
Yeah, over budget once VAT is included.
Thanks, I am aware of Online.net's regular offers. This might only be a short term need, so those setup fees are a deal breaker.
Ah, sorry about that @Nekki
If you happen to find such a beast, let me know.
Edit: Just remembered about: https://www.worldstream.nl/special The second shit is probably worse then a new Atom, however fits most of the requirements.
Edit2: Didn't read you need something better than Atom. Will leave it anyway, someone might find it useful.
Hey @nekki - if you can deal with SATA rather than SSD disks - I'll sort you out at $15 instead. Drop me a PM
The G1620 has 2.6k Unixbench, thats 3x faster then N2800.
Those first two are actually alright (it's the erstwhile Atom N2800 I'm trying to avoid), just no SSD. 6 monthly payment is a deal breaker tho, may only need this for a month or two.
I don't think SATA will work, but will let you know if that changes.
no it isn't, deal's for real but maybe 1 or 2 left
>
That's a new one. Had no idea that Celerons were much better than an Atom.
OK, then well done for offering me something I already stated I didn't want for more that I wanted to pay.
you are so welcome
Lord Nekki? How is this?
https://fusa.is/offer/
Just over your budget but not by far
Joke's aside, if you're just using it for 1 or 2 months, I can arrange E5-1620v2 for say $20 - $25 range, no spamming :P
