Yep. I was one of them xD But it's true that this offer is amazing af

  • It's a normal speed guys?

  • What are you expecting? Your server is in the EU (France) and speeds from Netherlands looks good.

  • trewqtrewq Administrator, Patron Provider

This offer is still up on their site. Does anyone know if they normally leave them up even if they aren't expecting more stock or can we expect to see it come online again?

  • Some1 asked What happens when someone cancel the subscription within the 14 days.

They said that there could be a possibility that they will sell them again.

    Thank you!

Does anyone know if there is already a site made for getting notification of stock availability on OVH or am I going to have to make one?

  • The network speed to the usa is a joke at Gra, i get better speed to the usa on my home internet

@Razza how about using a less retarded speedtest script, i.e. one which doesn't only test speeds to Softlayer? For example this one https://k4y5.github.io/ServerBench/

    Thanked by 1YorkiS

Yeah. Or he can try my version of bench.sh

    wget zqc.ca/bench.sh -O - -o /dev/null|bash

No shitty Softlayer in there :P

Mine too, simply no available servers right now, hope it's soon not never.

  • Why do you use Europe DC's when you live in the US ? The ping is horrible, better order something in the BHS.

  • If someone ordered too many of these boxes then they actually needed and want to get rid of one or more then please get in touch with me and I will take it over. I will pay you 45 USD over PayPal for transferring it to me instead of just cancelling it.

China Unicom to BHS is much better than France, the speed to France is damn...

  • seems like so far nobody is getting the BHS?

  • sdjason said: seems like so far nobody is getting the BHS?

The offer was only for GRA.

  • 4 Days since payment and verification .. nothing yet. Is it normal ?

  • Yes, it is normal...particularly as it has been (and still is) a weekend.

  • I'm also still interested in one, if one got an extra jack. Let me know.

  • So the BHS is a doom. For any one who does not want their server in Europe I will be very happy to take over with a little excessive via PayPal

Anyone who is planning to reselling them by transferring the ownership, it can only be transferred to a other Ovh account on the same subsidiary e.g Ovh uk account > Ovh uk account as i have already tried to transfer one my server's to an account at Ovh ie.

After you fill in the form all you get is a error The two NIC handles provided are not managed by the same subsidiary. The change cannot be made.

I guess you (and the other party involved) are supposed know with which subsidiary they have their account, no? As long as both do not suffer from dementia... ;)

I'm just not sure my account belong to which subsidiary, ovh.ie or ovh.fr, because I have registered and validated several years ago :(

Look at your invoices in OVH's manager - There you see the invoicing subsidiary on the top right of the invoice.
It's "OVH Gmbh", the german branch, in my case.
