  No decent panel has any tools to migrate from competitors currently. They all have vendor lockin.

  I don't like having 3 racks of gear sitting incase that one person decides he needs 800GB of RAM to number crunch for 4 hours a month :P

  Well, I think this pretty much sums up how serious a "business" the OP is, er, planning. This aside, thanks for an interesting read on what's the take on this subject by providers with hands on expertise.

  My vote goes to SolusVM.

  For open-source, use Proxmox.

  I prefer SolusVM. Virtualizor has an interesting interface but I believe the SolusVM is more complete.
