The setup fee is too high.

It's funny that they are showing the reviews for the old version on the product page:

Setup fee 60 EUR? Have fun. Basically user buy hardware, than rent from self. Next user pay twice for the same hardware. Nice model of business :)

Do you know how much these Supermicro blade servers cost ? I would pay even more for a setup fee, but 29,99 Euro/month is a bit too much for my purposes.

Jesus, €60 setup fee? They're wacky bastards.

These are writes speeds which are limited to 280 MB/s. Use hdparm not this stupid benchmark.

  • They are probably using the same drives like in XC SSD 2016: http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/products/flash-storage/client-ssd/MZ7LN256HCHP?ia=831

I wouldn't have expected that RAID-1 takes that much of the performance away...

  • so basically E5 single core performance for low TDP.
