  • use < pre> and < / pre > tags for test results, makes it easier to read. And don't post your public IP...

Looks good for the price though!

  • You may want to remove your IP.

Yeah. I ordered it on Thursday and got mine yesterday.

Did they put it together after you ticketed them, or was it just over the course of time?

  • MikeInMikeIn Member

Better network to SG & JP if compared in general, for US location.

I opened a ticket so they told me that the server would be delivered yesterday.

I'll give them the rest of today. Stated range was 1-3 business days, which would be end of today.

Thank you. Were you given any control panel for hard reboots, PTR records, reinstallation etc. ??

Do not know about other things but Reinstallation is not automatic (Atleast in this plan), 1st OS load is free and then with some fees (This plan only).

    Edit: Tagging @volumedrive

There's no control panel for this server. Other comes with IPMI/DRAC interface.

Order number please? The G530 special is typically within 1 - 3 business days and our normal server offerings are under 24 hours.

Not everybody needs raid. It depends on the usage scenario and how critical are the services on it. Also, a dedicated server of 10$ per month is nearly impossible to have 2 or 4 drives.

  • @volumedrive: how difficult would it be to provide a control panel on the $10 servers ?

Missing the rescue system for the box.

We can configure a G530 with multiple drives.. no problem. Its just the added drive cost and if hardware raid is required.

Which control panel, cPanel or DA? Yes, we can provide that. Pricing is listed in our latest sales thread.

What about control panel for that server?

All of our X5650 machines and some of our L5630 servers (add-on) come with full Dell DRAC that you can use for virtual terminal, power control, etc..

I mean something that would do reboots and OS reinstalls without having to open tickets.

  • That is a standard feature on our L5630 or X5650 machines as mentioned (Dell DRAC). This G530 package is bare bones, but it does come with support. If you need a reboot, something to be looked at or hardware replaced, just open a quick support ticket.

But if you need of a os reinstallation you must pay a fee.
