prestashop help
Hello there, i just move one prestashop from a server to another one using cpanel migration.
once the transfer was made the home page is telling me server error 500 and somethimes is blank and the admin area is function perfectly.
i have try to move the page manually too but the same results. Now i have paste the last hours asking my friend google how can i proceed to have the presta online but .... withowt results.
Have enyone here who past the same problems ? i thinck is for the php different versions ...
Can enyone help me ? Thanks !

What does the error log show?
have you checked the config/settings.inc.php, .htaccess and SEO & URLs (backend) settings?

was the first thing what i have doit ... but ... no succes
The 500 error has to be generating something in the webserver's error log.
Also what if you go to the directory where the index.php is located and run it manually:
php index.php
Does it show any errors there?
Rename the .htaccess and check if the issue gets fixed. Seems to be a redirecting issue.
i have try too , int the past when i update from 1.4 to 1.6 this was the solution. But now ... really strange. I have disable the friendly url too ...
Likely a missing PHP module or configuration option.
Is there a page in the admin area which allows you to check whether your server meets all the requirements to run this software?
maybe ... but wich module ? (is a fresh server installed )
As I said - in the primary directory:

What error comes up?
Look at both servers phpinfo, and compare
i see only a difference . in the old i have php version 5.3 and in the new 5.6 , i have try to put the 5.3 php version in the new server but is the same issue

verified , any way i have use/managed from +10 years prestashop and i have recive many errors but now ... just 500 server error and nothing more.
Did you try deleting .htaccess file?

Probably error with the cpanel migration, try doing it manually

I have problem one week ago, and its solved now after I try to check its not all the file copied succesfully with auto cpanel migration, but after I try to move using wget on php its going smoothly. I dont know yet what the problem related but at least its going normal.
probably need a php.ini file in your related directories
I would suggest to check file permissions. Is it migrated from a non-su PHP server to Su php OR vice-versa ? Permissions could be the possible cause for this.
is it reseller account in the old server?
