By end of the month. I remembered I had sent a different node configuration over for one of my other projects so I just need to get some SSD's in it and it's golden.

I'm using BuyShared for about 6 month as well, and haven;t spot any bad things.
Just wait until scrypt kiddies send you a "Thank You" letter of 800GBPS. CloudFlare removed the domain and sent me an email saying that I needed to upgrade to an enterprise plan.... OVH 4 LIFE (@Fransisco voxility is good too)
I'm using BuyShared for 2 weeks on lv-shared04 with no problems.
Only problem I have was that @Francisco told me that is possible to have git on server. So I opened a ticket to request that feature, but Aldryic answered me that is not possible
We had a sit down a while back to decide on this. The main concern was people trying to run big repos/etc on their shared plans and generally trying to treat it like a VPS. With that being said, if you're just using git for checkouts/syncs/etc, it's thre and ready to use
I know I added it to lv-shared04's cageFS not too long ago. Should take another look.

Isnt exists in cPanel, but can I use in SSH?
Right, there is no cpanel integration minus ssh.
Francisco
I did not know that works in SSH. I already using For me, git dont need any cpanel integration. Thanks!
Did you tell him that it was you who brought up the idea of refund?
@Francisco For the $5/year shared package are you guys really strict on the 100GB monthly b/w.
I need a dedicated IP for one of my sites since @Jonchun got my reverse proxy config working.
I'm debating whether I should just buy the $5/y package or just pay $12/yr for another dedi ip to be added to my reseller.
We don't sell BW addons for shared just because we would be nickel/diming and it becomes a pain in the butt. Personally we just say 'upgrade your plan' or snag an extra IP in your case.
Just found out they switched from paypal pro to stripe. Good news for people that don't/can't have a paypal
This sold me. I've got plenty of VPS's and even a dedicated server, but I'm moving my low-bandwidth websites to BuyShared.
I hope they activate my service soon. I've been down 12+ hours because of Delimiter going down and want to put up some quick "be back soon" sites.
Stripe let us reach a few more countries All around a good move.
Thanks! You should be ready soon.

The hosting is fine, but one thing I've always been questioning is why uploading files to it is extremely slow. I'm uploading a 28mb zip right now and it takes around 3-4 minutes which is insane. I uploaded it the first time, but there was some error at the end so now I have to redo it all over again.
I asked support about the extremely slow upload before, and some guy (don't remember his name, not Aldric) told me it's my upload speed, which it is not...I have a 250 down 20 up connection
Uploads to my BuyVM VPS are like 1000x faster....
Traceroute to lvshared02 if anyones curious
Fantastic
Looks OK to me?
If you were uploading over SSL (via the SFTP, SCP, over cPanel itself), it could've been entropy exhaustion. I replaced rng-tools since the pool was < 200 with all of the SSL we have on there. I'm now seeing it sit happily in the 2000~4096 range.
Let me know.

@xaitmi @Jonchun was it just the SNI or a DNS that had to be added? I would of taken up this challenge!
I had a wordpress site that was having issues at BuyVM a while back, it had quite a bit of traffic and I was seeing slow load times for some reason. They tried to work with me, but I moved it out after nothing really worked. I believe the WP site was throttling something though, and I don't blame them as it's a shared environment.
On the positive note, I still have another 10 domains running there that I forget about because I never have issues. Downtime is minimal, sites are reliable.

It was through cPanel.
I just tried using an FTP client on port 21 (non ssl mode)
Still caps off at around 140
I remember originally being on shared01, looks like i'm on shared03. Anyway, not seeing the same results as you. Latency is high as my upload is slow / maxed out.
Oh, this is uploading? From you->server? What's your line rated for?
Francisco
Don't be more senile than I am Eat more fish
Aah, woops.
I dunno, could be an issue with HE, but that wouldn't make a lot of sense for inbound to be bad for you. Still, worth a chat.
Francisco
Yes. Uploading from my computer to the shared hosting.
I have a 250Mbps download 20Mbps upload connection.
When I upload to my BuyVM VPS I get at least a 1000KB/s.
PM me a trace to the VPS I wonder if it's the same. If it is...that's confusing.
Francisco
@Francisco
Any new info when it will be available again in the SHARED 20G plan ?
Megabits/second or megabytes/second?
I've noticed that when I upload a zip via cPanel, even though it completes uploading it wont show up for a couple of minutes.
Whereas if I upload it via an FTP client it's there right away.
Does it disappear due to a virus scan or something?
It could be if you have clamav enabled?
First i've heard of that, but to be fair most people use FTP.
Francisco
I am on lv-shared02 and upload speed seems Ok to me. I use FileZilla FTP client.
