  • How to define new host. Started January 2012 or later?

I guess ramnode will lead it.

  • Well we were not established this year but started selling to the let community this year!

We need to start some criteria for ranking things around here. Too many cheerleader posts. :)

Seriously, these top and best posts are just SEO spam fodder I think.

I'll start my own SEO spam fodder post:
Top 10 VPS Disasters of 2012

    VPSFAIL

P.S. In all seriousness, seems RamNode is doing a pretty good job.

  • +1 For Ramnode, great service, very polished and NickA is awesome!

  • Ram node = not a new provider.

  • My vote goes to Ramnode .

  • @Taz said: Ram node = not a new provider.

Same with prometeus, started to offer VPS for the masses in January this year with a whooping success... 4 sold in a month :)
But is backed by a long established company.
    M

  • So, only providers who are not backed by an existing company qualify as new? Seems a little arbitrary but w/e.

  • Yes. Iperweb is not new. Same with ninjahawk 24k and others.l

  • its confusing now...

  • Waiting for contest winner @zhyuani.

It is not really arbitrary, just fair. A new comer will not have the experience and resources that an established company has.
This is my opinion, of course.

Indeed ! I wanted to ask for a while, where is his offer ? Did I miss it ?

  • And one of the few times I will agree with M.

I saw LFCVPS's offer last week and got one. Replaced two VPS from other hosts with a single LFCVPS. I'm just hoping that it won't run into ongoing problems down the line (the way most other hosts have) because this VPS is easily twice as good as any other I've used.

If you ever wish to buy from prometeus and transfer your sites here, please say upfront with a link to this post so we can recommend you some hosts we dont like.

  • I'm not quite sure what you are going on about.

  • LFCVPS started offering VPS in 2012, I'd give them my vote for best new host.

A leading hashtag in a sentence will indicate it's a header - that's just Markdown syntax. Should be possible to circumvent that by placing a space in front of the hash:

    #test

What are you going on about?

  • @Maounique

Kind of free with the royal 'we' there, aren't you?
