My VPS with IP 142.91.238.X is still down. I guess they are going to join October deal pool?
I have one of thsose 142.91.238.xxx, which has been down for 3 straight days now.
So what responses did you guys get from their support team, anyway?
That's actually par for them. There was one time where my VPS was out for 6 days for "an abuser on your node". Another time it was out for 5 days for "hardware error".
Mine is also 142.91.238.xxx is still down. Seems got hacked on their node
The 2 vps's I have with them are still chugging along, however, neither of them are in LA. Also, http://my.hostitek.com is still working fine if you need to get in to log a ticket or pay an invoice.
their site is working, however nobody answers any, don't seem to care much.

my Chicago VPS with hostitek has been flaky for the past week or so and now its just totally dead...

My box in Chicago is down as of yesterday, after an uptime of 115 days. I opened a ticket, but its been a full day & I haven't gotten a response, its as though their staff all got up & disappeared.

I got 2 months, on 3 VPSs I had there... also paid yearly... eh... learning my lessons...
I have 1 month left, so not much sorrow or anger, but still too bad, it was a good one.
Fortunately I just canceled my VPS from them several days ago...
