This may confirm something "Dan Fry" http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1193196
Reference the above and the post per page 2 of this thread.
Oh hey it's this thread
lol, the dude thanks Dan Fry for helping mitigate the attack.
Should be ok. We know that vps6 is an ok company
Lol. Got a quote from ServerGurus and wondered why i recognized the name, this thread just reminded me.
oh, old days
Well.
This should keep me entertained at work for the day.
Say what you want about VPS6, they always put the customer first and have great hardware/network.
Very true. I'm still grumbling a bit over the troubles in LA but it seems they fixed that with their move.
Hey,
So what does this mean exactly? I can't follow, are they safe? not safe? and what's the big deal about having this client?
@Ishaq Yeah, still safer to use I'd say than most providers other on here IMO.
@vps6net Still waiting for that next offer you promised me.. :P
Late to the thread, but...
I once asked ServerGurus if they provide VPSes (just curious), and Mr. Fry said they provide them through their "partner company", and guess who that is....
That's right, VPS6!
More proof:
https://www.servergurus.com/virtual-dedicated-servers.php
@Shane_Elmore Other way around, ServerGurus is the parent company of vps6 right? or something like that..
ServerGurus sister company for VPS is VPS6
So basically VPS6 lied because they knew what Dan Fry means within this industry, but they now appear to be providing a good service.
Its just something to be aware of when purchasing from them.
Oh this again
GOOOOOOOOD morning.
If the WHT newbie is to be trusted, then it would seem that way.
