@racksx - we use Carat for some legacy servers, but their problem is neverending outages. They have long outages. I think the longest one in the past 6 month was 9 hours!
3.5 years ago, they been verry verry solid network, now i dont know, thing is they have no power issues as they have with network connections, however we still with them from a long time now
' verry verry solid network'???
Power has not been a problem in years, but network .... thats another story.
Sounds like CAD billing is only for Canadian servers, so doesn't help with the dedi in Atlanta. Too bad, that sounded promising!
Uh...., thats a lot, but we are with them longer than 2013
@racksx - I think we got these systems in 2010 when Chris Niedojadlo was running it. Things are better now than they were in terms of network, but its still really flakey.
Are you talking about Delimiter? Thats rubbish, I know of Canadian customers paying CAD for servers in US and EU. Can you PM me the response you got from Steve, he is talking out of his posterior.
Chris Niedojadlo he is the person we deal for our server long time ago , i never know that he left as i do not need the support from them.
Yeah. Actually I haven't got an official "no" yet, but I assumed that's where it was going when he said "There are no Canadian servers on that account, could it be under another account?"
I sent a reply earlier saying I only have the one in Atlanta and I didn't realize it needed to be a Canadian server, so I'll wait and see what the reply to that one is.
@Ree - If he says its not possible tell me because I've seen it done.
I'm loving the CAD eating shit.. great for us USD earners based up north - shitty for basically everyone else.
Now would be a really crappy time to lock in on CAD prices for servers though, I don't see the dollar dipping anymore (but I'm kinda wishing it does)
On another note: OVH boxes from Kimsufi.com/ca or SYS Canada are a great deal right now - even with GST/HST tacked on.
@agoldenberg
We'll take good care of you with your CAD billing issue. Just let us know when you're ready to make the switch.
