less than 29 minutes according to external ssh monitoring.
Also, My ISO sftp downloads resumed without a hitch after 29 retries. (yay Filezilla settings magic)
So still better than 99.9% availability for the month so far.

They farm that stuff out to GCHQ - far less regulation or oversight and they can spy on americans (and brits).
Hi guys. Indeed, our DC suffered 28 minutes of downtime due to internal problem with a backup switch. We are implementing protocols and harsh testing routine to avoid such issues in the future. Deeply apologize.

@allXunder So, you opened a LET thread because of 10 minutes of downtime (the time that you opened the thread, with total downtime at the end ~30 minutes). And that, for a very cheap service!

They can also extend the billing for a single vps
@MrGeneral same here... "we can add 1 day for each server or 5 days to a single instance"... I wouldn't even call this candy, for me it's more like sand. I would prefer they only said sorry and not offer anything or offer something that makes sense.

Depends how many VPSes you have with them.... They have made me a good offer, so I am happy now!
I was actually hoping they'd send real candy (UK=Sweets) to the billing address.
For my box (23.88 EUR per annum):
23.88 / 365 = 0.065 EUR per day
0.065/24 = 0.0027 EUR per hour
0.0027/60 = 0.000045 EUR per min
28 mins = 0.00126 EUR
That's probably about 1 smartie (US=M&M)
