Yea, im 99.999999999% sure this is just a vps, nothing special

  • I'm not even sure why they called it vapor. Vapor reminds me of vaporware, i.e. things that make some noise for a while and disappear very quickly. It's a common term used for software / games.

LOL, these guys are really silly. I bet it's not long now till they have a much tighter registration method.

This is the same thing that ran through my mind. I'm sure someone thought it sounded really cool without realizing what vapor means to a lot in the tech/gaming community.

  • Just if everyone registered created a vm with 4gb memory and 100gb disk space, how big the server would be?

It's OpenVZ so unless people use the resources it would be fine I guess.

  • They will delete the unconfirmed accounts every here and there.

  • This is another problem that might come because of free vps. IP space

    They're out of IPs.

    Darn!

  • WoopWoop Member

Lol I made 2 of them, can't access either now:

ssh: connect to host 192.211.58.231 port 22: Connection refused

ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host

  • @woop, maybe they deleted your account. did you confirm your account?

  • RobertClarkeRobertClarke Member, Host Rep

@Woop Mine is still up, on a "verified" email though.

  • Out of IP's.. Please somebody make a IFFT app for LET, if "FREE" in Discussion title, then "email" me. That would be awesome.

  • Mine is still working, but I verified it after reading @Woop's posting.
