  • I wouldn't call a DSL + Fibre router with VoIP and WiFi bgn/ac for 140 EUR cheap. Anyway. 5 GHz WiFi has a shorter range than 2.4 GHz. It's all great that 5 GHz has higher speed and is less crowded but due to the shorter range and I can also probably blame the walls of the building I can barely use it.

  • I have an old house with 1foot brick walls.

    I'll stick with my asus rt n16 and 2.4Ghz until someone lays some fiber to the area.
