How to avoid spam filters?
Hello guys, I have to sent 150 emails to some businesses. The emails are not malicious spam at all, they are business offers. Practically they will have text, one pptx file attached and a few links to my website. The emails will also have a 1 pixel image just for analytics. I am hosting on website on yandex.com and i have added all dns records to prove i am the sender. So what do you suggest? I am am thinking of sending 5 emails every 30 minutes. What do you think? Will that work? I have no experience in sending mass emails, that's why i am asking here.
Thank you.

Sending out 150 identical "business offers" sounds a lot like spam in my book
Yeah I agree with teamacc. You are sending 150 emails offering to sell/partner up with something? Realistically what would happen if all 150 replied with yes? Maybe try an amount that is more realistic unless you know for sure the conversion rate will be very low, but that then proves that they are "spam" rather than anything remotely considerable.
The recipients should have opted in at some point, and in that email you could have asked them to whitelist your address.
You must be new here.
FYI: This place does not take kindly to spammers.
I am not sending spam. Why would i deny it if i were?! They are business offers emails. All of them have an email on their website to send business offers and i am doing that. The problem is i am using a web app to do it and not doing it manually.
Sorry Still spam!
Please don't even bother "business offers" etc aren't what we consider legitimate especially if sent every 30 minutes so no your mailing is spam all mass mailing is please note you do know there are spam filters in place because of this reason right you're not going to be able to defeat them there designed to be not-defeated on purpose like firewalls are for ddos attacks and more.
@jarland @Ishaq come and get this person for violating the rules
violated rule:
next time op read the rules!
Lol i am not trying to have your sympathy or LET's approval. I was just asking what is the line between what is considered spam or not. As i sad, i am not selling viagra or offering webcam sex. I am just sending a small email with a presentation and one website link.
That's probably it. Don't do that. Anything but images, and sometimes even images, decrease the chances that your email is legitimate. Especially when combined with any kind of marketing words. Use links to web content, but don't email files that aren't intended to be imbedded in the email itself.
the line is all mass mailing is considered spam. as no mass mailing is legitimate unless you follow the can spam act's rules(which state if I have to clean up my mailbox every 30 minutes for something like this I won't be happy and it will be considered spam.)
Thanks for the advice. Noted.
It looks like you haven't yet understood what i want to do. One email address will only get ONE email from me. It's the same as sending them manually my offer. The difference is i am using a web app.
I believe email from Nigerian Prince is not spam. It's truly business offer.
One email address getting only one email is the typical behavior of spam. Spammers move onto next after that.
Because denying they spam is exactly what spammers always do.
Do you even know what a business offer is? It's when you offer to pay me for the business I'm in. That's why my web site exists with my contact info on it. You're a spammer if you're trying to use my sales channel to sell me something.
Sorry if it is unwanted and unsolicited it is spam.
Why didn't he have the right to send business offers if company published email for enquires?
@gulf If it is one or two emails maybe but 150 emails is spam!
Viagra must still be a good business
But maybe he analyzed some yellow pages, collected 150 most relevant companies and want to send them valuable content. And he could just manually send these 150 emails with Gmail.
You can't actually believe all he is going to do is send 150 emails.
He didn't mention "identical" emails. Maybe he has personal offer for every company with the same powerpoint file - is it spam?
Come on people, can we stop being negative here on LET.... Please
Interspire lol
I'm guessing you're joking, but just in case. People are educating the OP on the definition of spam. That is a very positive response.
conspiracy #illuminati
Actually this is true. I have spent a week analyzing and offering the right business deal.
That's okay for me. People replying here only tell that they have never worked for a company which uses email marketing.
To be fair, asking 'how to avoid spam filters' suggests you have the same level of experience with email marketing.
Anyways, have a look at https://spamassassin.apache.org/tests_3_3_x.html
Like I originally suggested, getting whitelisted is a good place to be. Since you're sending it sort-of-unsolicited, you'll want to look at the rest of the rules.
No, it only further shows you haven't a clue what the difference is between email marketing and spam. I've worked for companies that legitimately use email as part of their advertising campaigns. It is done in very specific ways to keep it from being spam, and even then some of them like to draw the line too finely for my own personal comfort.
As I have already stated, if you're not reaching out to give them something, you're spamming. Your "offer" is a one-sided ask that profits you. Stop pretending you're being clever about this, because you're only fooling yourself.
You are being very stupid right now. How do you know what I am sending? How the fuck do you know which side wins? This forum is full of fucking kids who love to assume things.
Well, you'd be one of the kids here since you also assume that we are "kids".
And allow me to assume that you are indeed a spammer. The moment you asked "how to bypass spam filters" you become a spammer. Legitimate emails tend to pass spam filters.
Some might even say . . . impossibly stupid! :-)
If you had a legitimate business offer, you would have been able to simply state what you're looking to buy from these 150 companies. You'd be able to disclose what you're writing that you're so sure isn't spam. Instead, you keeping acting coy and secretive.
The burden is on you to demonstrate that our assumptions are wrong by giving evidence that demonstrates you're not a spammer. You have yet to do that and, in fact, seem to insist on going in the opposite direction. The bigger the fit you throw, the more guilty you look.
Oh come on, even I can see you're giving the guy a hard time based on too little information. This coming from me, who frequently replies to spam with messages like "Hey I hope your foot gets stuck when you try to cross the road today!"
