Sounds like it. Been using the serverping one for the last year, works great.
Yeah the serverping module actually prevents activity. WHMCS's new feature just nags the client to verify at this point.
I bought that modules last month and I love it. I just checked all of the new clients who haven't verified their e-mail (and thus don't have service) and all but 2 of them have reports on FraudRecord (50% of them with multiple reports including some from us under different names).
Can say that the new version is quite nice. The updates to ticketing are good, but it would really be nice to be able to see in depth all replies that a particular staff member has done (i.e. want to check up on the work that someone did, or training/supervising a new hire). Basically they need the same screen that is available in the ticket ratings reviewer, but for showing overall replies.
