There are DC's that are able the get flooded without any issues, and are able to get fueled by boat

Of course it depends on your actual clients, but I myself wouldn't choose Serverius again. I currently have a VPS in their DC with another provider. Server itself is fine. But network connectivity to certain ISPs is just bad. For instance traffic to AS3320 (German Telekom) is going via Cogent. I am not able to push more than 1-2 Mbps (!) to clients in AS3320. I opened tickets but nothing changes. Throughput to other clients is very well. For example 50+ Mbps to Telefonica Germany. But serving with 1-2 Mbps is just a show stopper. I know that peering with AS3320 doesn't make fun and some other datacenters like Hetzner are facing the same issues. But finding a solution resulting in 1-2 Mbps isn't one for me. There are other datacenters in NL with much better connectivity in my opinion (e.g. i3d Rotterdam).
@dfroe you can't blame them for not buying a very expensive direct connection to DTAG. It's very difficult considering the pricing they offer.
i3D peers directly with DTAG and has one of the best networks in Europe, can't be compared with Serverius.
We have own deals with various carriers and will link directly if we will have issues.
Uncle was there in person and did not have a bad impression.
In romania will also have a mix of our carriers and theirs.
Serverius has more facilities there from what i understood. Maybe issues were with the older one.

after that I had to give in and ordered a nice slice of 1 TB of their storage offer...
provisioning took under an hour, but as this is a ressource pool one has to create a VM afterwards (or multiple if you book additional sockets and IPs and such).
I decided to not go with a kvm-template but use iso and novnc to do the install that way.
this took about 10 minutes, network config is done via DHCP easily.
I put the whole ressources into a single VM, as this shall serve for backup purposes only. so while I got a second core performance-wise (expensive 0,35€ upsell, ouch ;-)) I am not doing a whole lot of geekbench... network and maybe io shall suffice as first impression:

You need at least 1 socket and 1 ipv4 to spin a vm.
It is regular credit, you can use it as you like :-)
I would like to clarify: The account provisioning is manual, we check every order, even some from existing customers, but once you have the account, everything is automated, when you create the VMs, delete etc.
I must say that I am very impressed by that new Prometeus location so far! I have a VM there and performance is just great. One just has to love Uncle & his team. I am using them since years now (with multiple services) and I have seen and used many, many providers out there.
Prometeus is outstanding. Extraordinary. Long-term fantastic.

Does buying 2 cores mean that every VM I spin up (assuming I have enough purchased 'sockets' and ipv4) will get 2 cores EACH?
Sorry if my question seems stupid. The order form could use a footnote with these explanations.
It would be more intuitive if you just combined 'sockets' and ipv4 together as a SINGLE dropdown. (Is there any edge case where a VM can be created without ipv4?)

I gotta say my test of there new storage KVM system in Netherlands so far has been five star. I have other services with them, but the storage KVM in the new location is pretty kick butt. Can't beat the price and peering isn't that bad in Serverius to boot.
On top of that, had a little snafu when I provisioned my server, had purchased 2 cores and forgot to add one to my VM. Instead of having to rebuild, I put in a ticket and with-in about 25 minutes they had added the extra core for me and I was up and going. Support was fast to respond and quite courteous.

No, this is a pool of resources, you can have 2 cores on a machine or 2 machines with once core each.
This was built by uncle from the source code of a module he bought. It might be possible but the amount of work is simply to big and it is a low priority issue at best.
So far, we do not plan on giving IPv6 VMs only, if this is what you meant.
John Deer and Maounique are the same person, we had no moose in Italy or Romania, so I thought of something more local. (joke)
