  • DeftNerd said: @MarkTurner - The Delimiter Object Storage looks pretty great. I see that using the coupon code and paying for a year 4x's the resources. What I'm wondering is if that 4x coupon will apply to future plan changes.

No its a one time deal, if you buy 100GB annually its upgraded to 400GB one-time only. If you add another 100MB in a month then you'll have 400+100GB ie 500GB pool.

For instance, if I bought the 100gb package for $2.50 a month and paid for a year, I would receive 400gb of storage and bandwidth. Awesome deal.

    Its pretty mega.

The FAQ says that if you exceed the storage or bandwidth, you get the chance to move up to the next level. Would the discount apply to that situation even if it occurs months from now? Would I be able to move to the 2tb level (which would be 4x the 500gb level) for $9.80 a month, or would I just have to move to the 500gb level at $9.80 a month and lose the benefits of the coupon?

This double/quadruple offer is a onetime deal. Whatever you buy with it today, will get multiplied up. Whatever you buy later wont.

It's a pretty nice offering and it really fits something I'm building that I don't want to use S3 for (encrypted message attachments for an email service). I just don't want to drop a lot of money into resources when I have no idea if my service will be successful enough to warrant more space in the future.

Its fully S3 compatible, so change endpoint, change keys and go.

    Seems they're sold out.

Well that's weird. I just ordered one. Here are the original thread from WHT

  • Brad said: Seems they're sold out.

There was probably just a handful, $1 wont cover the power.

  • I was able to order..and promotion code did nothing.. and now its out of stock..

  • Had it in my cart and the promo wouldn't work at checkout. Contacted live support and they said it was sold out just as I was about to order :/

  • they never had stock, just a ploy, they had been known to do that before.

  • @mov3 same with me.. either that is how its designed to work.. or they went out of stock... i bet its the former..

$12/year wouldn't cover the power unfortunately

Omg I did the same and they actually charged my PayPal $99, I opened a ticket I really hope they refund the remainder. PayPal screen said I will be able to review the final order but then it just redirected straight to their page.

  • same for me

    $3 or 4/mth :P

But no higher, it's Black Friday ;)

  • 0xdragon said: $3 or 4/mth :P

If it was paid annually then anything is possible :)

Just follow until the payment step. It will shows $1 in the final amount

Sure, annually is fine. Make a custom config for those Atoms you have, or something that's just sitting idle in the racks. :)

Is this a known provider? Did I just get burnt $100?

Any company could do that offer, but no company could do it without losing money.

  • don't get sucked into the trap.

  • Budgetvm is a known provider, yes. Contact support, they should fix this.
