here's a cyber monday domain deal https://www.name.com/cybermonday must wait till monday to buy!
Their DDoS-protection is pretty good though, have a VPS from a company that hosts with them and it hasn't gone down yet to any attack when Voxility and OVH already failed in the past for the same service I host there.
Isn't there a luck a major factor when it comes to ddos and staying online? Looks like all these stories about ovh sound like sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Yeah, yeah depends on the level of the attack, bandwidth, network layer, how my granny feels and such.
Otherwise, their ddos might be good as you said but it looks expensive.
If you want to check their DDoS-protection out, raptornode's Christmas special from 2014 is still active: http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/39301/raptornode-ssd-santa-special-kvm-ovz-10-gbps-of-ddos-protection-la
Pretty cheap for 25$/y
I believe the 10gbps protection is outdated, they seem to filter bigger attacks without problems.
Thank you, fortunately I'm not yet interested in ddos-protection or testing anyone's.
https://www.onepoundwebhosting.co.uk/ 65% OFF recurring on all regular shared and VPS plans
Time to get some more IWStack credits!

got alpharacks blackfriday's emailhttps://www.alpharacks.com/blackfriday
Edit : don't buy it, it only works for original price, not even cheaper than Let price..
I'll just put this here.
How to upgrade vps? I don't see an option for upgrade vps. @Nick_A
Globalfrag is amazing using them in Los Angeles for the last year + and they have some good Filtering. and if anything leaks they'll sort it out fast
Is that for new order / transfer?
>
Too bad it isn't recurring. They have good services.
Hell yeah I have been waiting on this one
RamNode coupon BLACK25 offering 25% recurring discounts on new orders and upgrades will be quite useful.

@MarkTurner Does it mean we get 500GB if we buy and pay for 250?
Where did this come from?
blackfriday for windows vps
Found it at https://twitter.com/DelimiterVPS
Yes I assume so, it seems you buy 250GB and then you get doubled up for free
Looks like the email explains it better, and there's a promo code.
That Delimiter resource pool looks good, anyone using it? Also are there any promocodes for it?
I almost took an offer from https://greencloudvps.com but after talking to them on chat, it turns out their 10gbs VPS is only 400Mbps really. Plus what put me off even more is that said it was GBps when they obviously meant Gbps. Ok that could be a typo but some naive people would think it really is GBps.
A proper 1Gbps from another company will be more than twice as 'fast'.
According to the mailer:
I like their API and interface but they only offer relatively small transfer limits.
I wanted VPS 10gbps unmetered or high limit on transfer but most of the deals are shared so essentially lies. But I would be happy with a real 1gbps connection if it is guaranteed and unmetered. Under $80 and enough specs to connect with RDP and not freeze.
I doubt you'll find a true unmetered Gbit at 80USD, even if you colocate your own hardware.
Yea, I know but 600mbps+ would be ok.
@MarkTurner - The Delimiter Object Storage looks pretty great. I see that using the coupon code and paying for a year 4x's the resources. What I'm wondering is if that 4x coupon will apply to future plan changes.
For instance, if I bought the 100gb package for $2.50 a month and paid for a year, I would receive 400gb of storage and bandwidth. Awesome deal.
The FAQ says that if you exceed the storage or bandwidth, you get the chance to move up to the next level. Would the discount apply to that situation even if it occurs months from now? Would I be able to move to the 2tb level (which would be 4x the 500gb level) for $9.80 a month, or would I just have to move to the 500gb level at $9.80 a month and lose the benefits of the coupon?
It's a pretty nice offering and it really fits something I'm building that I don't want to use S3 for (encrypted message attachments for an email service). I just don't want to drop a lot of money into resources when I have no idea if my service will be successful enough to warrant more space in the future.
