mxroute joke review fails on delivery

Hello LET,

I couldn't resist to post this.
I've been using MXRoute for a few months and my experience has been terrible.

1- @Jar is always willing to help other email providers to improve their services? Why? Why is he such good person? Why doesn't he reply to my 0 complaint emails?

2 - Horrible support. I never went to his support system because I never needed it. I've heard his replies are short because he always provides a solution. Where's the drama? No drama? Then I should move to another provider.

3 - Too stable. I really don't get this. I wake up every morning and I never seen the Thunderbird's warnings. This pisses me off. Did Thunderbird staff develop warnings? Is it email malfunction?

4 - A lot of people recommending. MXRoute is being spammed all the time in LET. I have never reported a single post because they were all positive. I'm also not sure if the Flag option really works in the posts recommending MXRoute. Pure SPAM.

5 - @Jar did setup redundancy. Why did you do it, @Jar? That's annoying. I don't need redundancy, I've never tested the second server...?

6 - Too expensive. $10 USD per year is too expensive. I'm hosting 5 email accounts. That's 0.16 cents per month per email account. Would be enough to buy 5kg bananas.

7 - No SPAM. Where can I buy viagra now?

8 - No gifts. For $10 USD per year, MXRoute should afford to send me gifts. I need some posters and a tshirt. I don't know why Jar hasn't developed an online store to buy some tshirts, like: "MX Route - Your Route to MX" or even "MX Route - Your MX in the route". It's just stupid. Jar could even sell Dildos, with a written slogan "MX Route - The MX Route for your arse".

9 - No number nine because there's nothing else to say.

10 - Thank you for your attention.

BTW: Feel free to order MXRoute if you need a reliable email service!

Sounds like a @jar of false negative review.

It's already sold on Alibaba, but it's someone must have been drunk before design approval.

  • General advice - a joke it's only funny the first time or when done again much later. The whole idea in "funny" is "unexpected".

  • u no gud enouf 2 lie.

  • I understand that these are jokes etc. but aren't you creating bad SEO for MXROUTE? Someone could simply read the title and not the content of the thread (or not be good in English to get the sarcasm) and this would translate in possible lost customers.

Maybe I'm paranoid, but just saying.

Heh, no bad SEO. Most customers from MXRoute are, I assume, from LET. And if you read the post, you'll clearly get it as a joke.
Do note that even bad mouting gets sales.

Well, I could say the same about GVH threads. Your post wasn't unexpected since Jar challenged to post it, so... Heh. Other than that, I didn't use your words.

It may have been funny the first time, but not twice.

Actually savvy marketers rank themselves for "X sucks". You know you're going to get haters anyway, so you want to control the message.

The advice was for you so that you avoid looking pathetic in places that matter - here it doesn't anyway.

Thanks, and stop, or I'll report you to the Italian police. Kid.

  • @MrGeneral - congratulations, you've won this month's secret community competition for worst thread for the month of October (that's right, this is so bad we're already sure no-one will beat it in the next couple of weeks)!

Your prize is a VPS from GVH, you can collect whenever someone starts the brand up again. Again, congratulations!

Sounds good! Will it be unmetered, 10Gbps?

Whatever you want, knock yourself out. Renewal work almost certainly be $5/year.

That's promising. Thank you for the future gift!

  • Most of this thread is true and I still recommend it for most people, but the spam filtering capacity is just absolutely terrible. I get 80 spam emails everyday in my inbox, and the baynesian spam filter just isn't working :(

    Anyone have a solution?

Well this kind of positive review with such kind of title wont bring to much to Jar. There are users that do nit enter the thread. Just change the title.
