Need help in Installing FFMPEG for free

Please friends,
can anyone tell me full tutorial for installing ffmpeg in vps/dedicated server
free of cost ?
I googled it but not getting working tutorial..please anyone give me working 1.

I cannot remember the script i used to install it..It was amazing...one ssh command ...and bam!...F fmpeg ready....although took 10-15mins...

the easy way would be to install libav-tools via package-manager on ubuntu and use avconv instead.
if you feel the 'real' ffmpeg is needed instead - learn how to install from sources ;-)

( no fuel-adding to any fire intended )

I did not mean that brother, I meant hot to install it free..not to get that tutorial for free..

I tried search in google..I found some tutorials, but not working. those are outdated..

What method did you try to install ffmpeg and in what environment? Give us some excact details, so, we can give you detailed instructions here.
For example, if you use debian/ubuntu, install add-repository option (apt-get install python-software-properties) and then (as I told you in a previous post) run these commands:

apt-add-repository  ppa:kirillshkrogalev/ffmpeg-next
apt-get update
apt-get install ffmpeg

Follow the prompts and the installation will be auto completed in 2 minutes. (I just tested in an ubuntu 14 environment and it is working like a charm)

For Centos 6, this tutorial is working fine (tested by me):

hahaha! Press your name and enter your membership page. Then, press the button "Edit profile" on the right top of the page. There is a list with options on the (new page's) top right position, the last one says "signature settings". There it is!

how are you searchiing? I could find updated tutorials on Google on the first page, best ones by the same ffmpeg wiki
