Is there no option but to buy ovh anti ddos game or you can request anti ddos game? Why do ovh offer anti ddos pro when it cant handle attacks it is like fake anti ddos?
Comments
No.
Within our OVH panel, we get the option to enable their game firewall. This is in the "IP" section. Is this the option you are referring to? You can also enable permanent mitigation as well.
Contact their support and ask for assistance. Writing disparaging comments like that don't really help your situation.
The only scam was your making an account here.
From what I've heard, their anti ddos game received horrible reviews and they pulled it for further development. The character design was horrible, the story was basically non-existent, and the game would crash every time the enemy (who was named "12 year old league of legends player") appeared.
Thanks for that, i have checked i don't see anti ddos game options or configs at all, i am paying ovh over 400 euros a month just for 1 of my servers, but it is anti ddos pro and no layer 7 or layer 4 protection means no protection at all really. So i have to cancel all my servers and order anti ddos game servers?
Lets be real here, if ovh do not protect against layer 4 and layer 7 then what is the point in there anti ddos? All these booters use layer 4 and 7 and other types that just bypass ovh like it is nothing. Do i ditch ovh or ?
Keep OVH, throw BuyVM filtered IP in front of it. Voxility is great.
Good idea but how about my 100's of clients ip's?
OVH protects well against L4 in permanent mitigation mode.
How about contacting OVH's support. You need to actually contact your vendor and ask them for assistance or information on their product.
You need to go through the API to do this
+1 Contact their support.
+1 They are not a SCAM
+Why? You register just to bash on them?
They told me to buy anti ddos game, and i said i might look for another host, the response was: Ok..... as in they don't care. OVH support really do not give a shit, even though i spend 1000's of euros with them monthly.
Then coming here bleating about the issue isn't going to help your situation.
Contact them, if they don't want to help then move on.
Could you explain a bit more as ovh support did not mention this at all they just send me invoices.

Login at the top, slap the IP in the box and hit execute!
That's probably the only thing you had been right about for now.
If you want to look for a different host, be sure to adjust your budget accordingly.
Better add some zeros to the price if you move.
Login at the top, slap the IP in the box and hit execute!
Hmm
Not Found (404)
{ "message": "The requested object (ip = EDITEDIPADDRESS) does not exist" }
When trying to add anti ddos game to the ip, hmm.
Gaming mitigation is only for the GAME line, you can't activate it on the PRO line (even on the API). What games are you running? most of what you want can be done configuring the firewall correctly.
this guy's calling the 3rd largest provider worldwide a scam, is this a joke?
Nope, pure ignorance.
OVH fake / scam - sure, they only got 1,4 Mio IPs but of course they're scammers!
Hi, it is for websites, people can drop cpanel and websites with no panel so easy and drop them. What i am saying is the anti ddos is not very good at all, and they brought in game anti ddos handles layer 7 but anti ddos pro does not, kind of weird.
OVH is not a scam but there anti ddos pro is not good, yes i know they say they do not cover layer 7 but layer 7 is what most idiots use to attack.
The anti ddos is a joke compared to voxility.
Can a admin change the title to say: OVH fake anti ddos ?
any solid evidence in support of your claim?
nah.
its name
