DDoS Protection:
We can offer DDoS mitigation up to 20Gbit/s for common UDP based attacks. This can include spoofed, ICMP type or direct ones targeting ports.

Network:

The server is located in a modern and newly built datacentre in Stockholm, Sweden. A diverse range of public and private peerings are employed, leading to excellent network performance. The current transit providers are Tele2 (large ISP in Sweden) and RETN (major carrier for EU/US/ASIA).
Tele2 provides quality IP transit and routes around Europe and America, ensuring the lowest latency.
RETN is dominant in the CIS (Russia etc) and Asia. Users in Asia can experience shorter paths and latency due to peering at HK-IX and other assosicated exchanges.

FAQ:

Q: Where are your servers located?

A: Our virtual servers are located in Stockholm, Sweden within the metropolitan region.

Q: Do you limit/block any sort of ports or services?

A: No, we do not block any services or ports. You are free to install and bind the network interface with any service.

Q: Do you have a refund policy?

A: Yes, we do have a refund policy if you are not satisified with your inital tests. We can only refund within 24 hours of server activation. If we see abnormalities with your server, you will not be refunded.

Q: What operating systems can be installed?

A: Since we are using hardware KVM virtualisation for our hypervisor, any sort of OS that can be installed through an ISO is supported. Please be aware that the provisioning of Windows incurs an extra fee.

Q: Do you offer custom packages?

A: Sure! We can offer any sort of configurations that is suited to your needs. Please contact us through email or ticket for further details.

Q: Are you virtual servers managed?

A: We offer some management (semi-managed) of your virtual machine, and this includes basic monitoring and system checks. If it is an isolated incident relating to a customised script or software, we may charge an extra fee.

Q: How I purchase additional IPs?

A: You can buy additional IPs through the addon section of our billing manager or submit a ticket for customised offers. We can offer IPs in different regions (e.g. in AFRNIC, ARIN) for geolocation or specialised purposes.

Q: Do you use the latest hardware and is your bandwidth dedicated?

A: We use only enterprise hardware from Kingston, Sandisk, Western Digital, Intel and HP for the main components in our server. The bandwidth speed on our hypervisor is dedicated 1Gbps and you should not suffer any network performance issues.

It could be due to the reason that bandwidth is very expensive in Sweden compared to France, Germany, Netherlands, USA etc

Actually, we can obtain the bandwidth at very affordable rates per TB, so it is no problem.

XHOSTFIRE was founded in the U.S. We have recently updated our site with a new theme and did not properly place the URLs in the footer. We will fix this ASAP.

Why not set port speed limits but allocate more traffic. Not everyone really need 1Gbps port instead more BW allowance.

Port speed is not an issue for us. We do not want to set port speed limits, as from my experience, users do not like being limited to a certain port speed. They like bursts in speed, which allows for quick file transfers and such.

In response to public comments, we have upgraded the traffic on our offers at no cost. About 3x more bandwidth on our Special and KVMS1 package. From 100-250GB to 500-750GB. Site will be updated to reflect this later.

https://hosthatch.com/openvz-ssd-vps 1 TB in Sweden for just ~2.66 USD monthly, so it's even cheaper.

I do not have very specific details on the DDoS protection but I can say attacks are filtered at network level. Through a combination of hardware devices and ACLs, UDP DDoS attacks can be mitigated with ease. We can mitigate heavy attacks from the UDP protocol, but Layer 7 (application) is not covered.

Please note that the protection is best effort, and if the attack traffic exceeds ~20Gbit/s, your VM IP may be nullrouted. This location is not suitable if you are constantly being attacked, but rather who need a quality network/hardware, high bandwidth speeds and an added layer of protection. Our platform is suitable for those who need protection from occasional attacks.

Indeed HostHatch is cheaper, but we are using entirely different networks. We are not using Portlane and we have additional layer of protection from attacks. Current IP transit used are RETN and Tele2 :)

The bandwidth is final for default packages, and additional GB/TBs can be purchased through checkout. It still fits in LET pricing for our "Special" plan.

IPv6 addresses have now been provisioned and supplied to all new virtual machines. We provide by default 5 IPv6s. If you need a bit more, we can provide for FREE :)

SSD storage is also possible now, if you are not happy with plain SATA HDD storage. Please submit a ticket if interested in custom plans.

  • @deployvm you look like a very promising provider. All the best!

    Thanked by 1deployvm
  • Exactly, XHOSTFIRE seems a very good hosting. Maybe I would order for tests if they will accept Bitcoins as payment.

Ok. Bitcoin should be available on check out. Please check.

Unfortunately we are disabling orders right now as we have noticed a serious issue with SolusVM! We will need to contact the relevant support department to investigate it. If you are really interested in purchasing, please hold on and we apologize for any inconveniences.

If you are curious about the issue, please send me a PM.

    Hello.

Did you just register here to post this? Please provide relevant details so we can check on this. We reply to emails and check tickets accordingly, so I am not sure how you came to this conclusion.

Secondly, our hosting is auto setup upon successful payment (we had 2CO do the verification in 2014)

Mahir, you never made any tickets. We have located your client account. Your service is still active, what makes you think we have disabled your hosting?

You saying that you didn't receive anything is not true. You can check your email log in the WHMCS client area. You got the information after payment.

Please note LET is not a support forum, actually submit a ticket if you have any problems.

Sales are open again for Swedish virtual private servers. We have completed our investigation of the issue and is resolved.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Ok. You did not login to check that your account was activated, because we have a cPanel extended module, which customers can access their account no matter what the situation is. We haven't had anyone else complain with email delivery, and WHMCS logs emails sent (you can access them). This is not a support desk here. Submit a ticket through your client account and our finance manager will consider your case.

    https://www.xhostfire.com/clientarea/clientarea.php

We have not received any tickets from you, as our logs indicate. What email did you send to? This does not make sense. Please provide screenshots of the ticket confirmation which was sent upon creation.

    Thank you.

2.wow nice received this error and you are talking about good service?

This is the first time that a "Time Out" has occurred with CloudFlare on our main website this month. Someone must of done something to it, as it doesn't usually happen. If you refresh the page again, it should go away. We have not recorded any issues with our platform this month.

You agreed to the terms of conditions during order. We have clearly stated our refund and payment policies during order. You are incorrect with your statement. You cannot call us ‘scammers’ if your service was delivered. As long as your service was activated and provided for, it does not matter if you have ‘used’ it or not. If you ask any other business, they provide you the same or similar explanation.

We are also not responsible if you did not receive it on your end, as
    a) You made no ticket to us until this date concerning anything about your hosting.
    b) WHMCS has an email sent log, so you can easily check for the welcome/activation email.
    c) The service was provisioned and activated, with no contact from you on our ticket system for many months?

Our email system is not 'corrupt' as you call it, because it is a software and sends out email upon successful payment. We have not had anyone else complain on our hosting or activation, which makes your reasons unjust.

You have just submitted your first ticket yesterday, which makes me wonder. To put it bluntly, your are responsible to check your CLIENT AREA if you do not receive the welcome email in your mailbox, we do not block or delete anything. DETAILS can always be found there!

There is also no point threatening us on your first ticket or here. You also stated in the ticket that you will "boycott" us on the internet. What is the point of this? We have sufficient evidence to counter your claims. This is not going to resolve anything. Again, this is not a support desk here and there is no need for further comments. Our finance manager has handled your case already and provided valid reasons for the decision.

    Thank you.

  • IluzyonIluzyon Member

If you are a good hosting service and want good comments then you need to refund me. again your contact panel support is corrupt, i'm not receiving any confirmation about the message i send and you are not receiving or replying the question.

  • deployvmdeployvm Member, Host Rep

Our control panel is not 'corrupt' as you describe it. If you are not receiving emails, then you should change your email to a different one. As I mentioned before, no body else is having such issues! We got your first ticket yesterday through your client area, and you made responses.

Please, I suggest that you stop discussing this situation here. We are only following our terms/conditions which you agreed during order and which we abide to.

I do not handle decisions regarding payment and a relevant colleague has considered your case already, so I cannot comment any further.

    Thank you.
