Yes, because the signature is a reliable judgement. How about he simply hasn't had chance to update it yet? I'm sure he has far more important things to deal with than his signature during the transition period.

You can still be the owner but no longer be a part of the day2day management.
Not to forget, still be a "worker" in that same company.
If you have the tech skills but not the management skills, why not get someone who does? You don't have to sell the company because of it.

I'm not saying this is the case with BlueVM since I'm no longer a customer or in any other way affiliated BlueVM.

Shared Hosting on BlueVM is down.

Ticket reply: "We are also working on moving the nodes to better and faster nodes. We expect a few weeks while all issues are fixed and we will provide adequate compensation for the inconvenience.Hope you understand."

What provider keeps the whole shared hosting down for "a few weeks" and expects to still have customers?!

Thank you BlueVM, you were great for a few years 2012 and 2013, but now indeed you are a nightmare.

To all people wanting BlueVM: run away from them, and run away fast.

I'm surprised they are still alive.. Crappiest host I've personally ever used..

I had a BlueVM VPS as a cheap throwaway test VPS for a year and...it was cheap. Otherwise, I was not impressed. I switched to Ramnode last Feb and it's running great. No complaints so far.

My VPS is down for a week now or so. It's on ATL-S3. Looks like a bunch of nodes in Atlanta are down: http://bluevm.linuxthefish.net/

I've got a $10/yr BLUE2 renewing in a little over a month...I have had very little problem with it over the past year, but this thread is making me consider switching to another host...

I use the VPS to watch Netflix. Are there any providers here that have their IP ranges blocked by them, or are most LET hosts too small for Netflix to bother with?

I have never encountered that Netflix blocked an IP, not even from major public vpn providers like cyberghost or vypr.

I think the only logical explanation here is Justin got a day job that pays more than BlueVM and has no time for BlueVM anymore, he will continue to milk it while making as little effort as is possible while it is profitable to do so and once it dips in to negatives due to loss of customers and none renewals that is when it will just go down forever.

Mine is on S19-NY but it's not working, even though the node says it's up.

Well I got a refund from PayPal, so who cares about them.

    Finally:

BlueVM Communications LLC was voluntarily dissolved yesterday which makes 'BlueVM' the company officially dead (search for 'bluevm' http://www.sos.state.co.us/biz/BusinessEntityCriteriaExt.do?resetTransTyp=Y )

    Source: https://vpsboard.com/topic/6844-bluevm-sold-change-of-ownership-update-514-now-owned-by-chicagovps/page-4

What about to close that now? :D
