lowendtalk is really slow

Been lagging like crazy since yesterday. Connections time out a lot, and sometimes takes multiple retries to load.

    Probably a DDOS or something. Its been unusable for the past 12 hours or so.

    I thought LET was protected by cloudflare anti-ddos

    Been timing out and just generally slow. lowendtalk.com works but when accessing a bit of content such as a thread or profile it usually times out for me.

    Not much can really be done we just have to wait it out.

    Same problem since yesterday, sometimes it takes several minutes to load on my phone

    maybe one of the providers can offer a vps for LET and be proud of it :) or is it too much for $7 range.

    For me since yesterday night 1 am UTC+1 the same. Really annoying. Maybe some WHT users wanna revenge because we slandered about the new "design"..

    Rumor has it it's actually the misconfigured DDoS protection detecting multiple page views by the same user as a "DDoS attempt". That's why it shows 1-2 pages and then locks up.

    This happend once before and was the effect after the "first" ddos after the protection was set up. At that time it was said "this was a misconfiguration". The slowness we see today looks similar as then.
    Bad thing is, not sure this will be fixed until monday. ;(

    But why then is there such a high packet loss (around 98% when I did a mtr) at 78.152.x.x? Are pings seen as DDoS as well or as ping flood?

    I thought they offered 99% uptime but only for 30% to 50 % of the time, that is colocrossing uptime TOS isn't it?

    I felt it was very slow from yesterday but I thought I was my 3G connection, but now it seems that wasn't me :D

    Yes, a lot of areas here don't even have 3G connection, it's still EDGE :D
